Haunthag Castle is the fourth area in Banjo-Kazooie: Venturesome Vacation. It is a medieval castle that features ghosts and varmit as the main enemies. Rob R. Graves searches around the backside of the castle, where there is a cemetary.  A society of different ghosts appear in the Keep, who plan to destroy the entire island of Breegulls. There is a mini-game with a pink Tee-hee found in Library, and a golden Tee-hee will give Banjo and Kazooie a Jiggy if they find three fragments of gold.

Haunthag Castle has two transformations: the Rat and Ghost. The Rat and Ghost have low Health compared to other transformations. The Rat lets Banjo climb into holes for short-cuts, and it allows him to climb steep ledges. It is very fast, as well. The Rat is needed for two Jiggies, one of which is announced. The Rat can bite enemies, but this takes double the hits it normally would.

The Ghost lets Banjo talk to other Ghosts, much like how the Baby T. Rex from Banjo-Tooie allowed him to talk to other dinosaurs. The Ghosts give "interesting" information, and you need the Ghost for finding a way into the cemetary, so Banjo and Kazooie can enter in their normal state. The Ghost will automatically kill small enemies, while passing right through large ones. The Ghost can slip by an apparent large spider and collect spirits of light that scare the spider off, so Banjo and Kazooie can pass.
