They make their debut in this game, they rarely appear in ground levels while they commonly appear in sky levels, they attack Mario by shooting cards from their card icon, one also appears in a level as a transportation taken by Mario, Luigi, Hunso (since Kirby was possessed and taken to an unknown island) to get to the unknown island
