Goomba Shoeee

A Goomba Shoe.

Goomba's Shoes (also known as Kuribo's Shoes, sometimes named Goomba Shoes (or thus Kuribo Shoes)) are wind-up shoe power-ups that first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3. It is worn by a basic Goomba until Mario hits the block under the Goomba and retrieves the hopping shoe. Mario can then jump around and simply crush just about any enemies. Mario is invincible unless another Goomba Shoe stomps him or he falls in a pit.

Appearances[]

New Super Mario Bros. D.I.Y.[]

The Kuribo's Shoe(called Goomba's Shoes in game) makes it's second appearance in New Super Mario Bros. D.I.Y. It works the same as before, only the player chooses it's appearance in which levels. In this game, they are a bit redesigned.

Super Mario 3D Land: Fun with Friends[]

The Goomba Shoe appears once again in Super Mario 3D Land: Fun with Friends. This time, the player doesn't need to hit the Goomba wearing it from below to retrieve it. Overall, it behaves the same way as it did in Super Mario Bros. 3.

Super Mario 3-D Galaxy[]

The Kuribo's Shoe (later renamed Goomba's Shoe) has been confirmed to appear in Super Mario 3-D Galaxy.

Super Mario 3-DIY[]

The Goomba's Shoe is an item in Super Mario 3-DIY. It is one of the many different power-ups in the game. It can be unlocked by placing a total of 250 Goombas. Goombas riding in a Goomba's Shoe (referred to as a "Goomba Shoe") are unlocked in the same way, and can be hit from underneath to get a Goomba's Shoe, like before. They no longer have keys in the back of them.
