General Smartie Sassface Caramel, or "Syande" after her bite, is the sole sister of General Scotch and General Snickers, and the eighth member of the crew party in General's Journey. She is a vampire - and one of the very few - to appear on the planet of Zonar (and to a larger extent the Zaxinian Lifts), and is well known for being a great threat to various villains spread around that universe, largely thanks to her immortality, but her laziness typically makes the chances of her stopping such villains rather slim.
General Syande is an adult character with an extremely pale skin tone and two red eyes. Long white hair spreads down her backside and a large tuft of it covers the left eye. Her hat is very similar to Scotch's, but the bottom is yellow rather than green and splits two different ways. She has two fangs, and has a mirror hanging from her golden necklace. She wears red, jester-like shoes.
General Syande is definitely mischievous and enjoys coming off as such to friends and foes alike, being sneaky and sometimes a bit seductive, although the latter is usually out of a joking manner. While that is her main personality, she has a secondary personality that seems to vary by the house, this personality often has a kind of pull on her usual attitude. For example, she can be passive aggressive and still come off painfully mischievous.
Something to be noted is that she speaks with "V"'s instead of "W"'s and speaks in a more childish manner, using "dat" instead of "that", "dere" instead of "there", etc etc. However the more childish manner is done more so on purpose, for she enjoys the freedom of saying whatever flies off her tongue rather than being particularly careful with how she speaks.
Syande is a very unique character in comparison to her team because she has vampire traits. She is quite strong and runs very fast, and is a very effective user of the air, able to dash around at ridiculously high speeds. Syande is very threatening and can easily catch and take down her foes. Unlike most vampires, Syande doesn't exactly need to bite into her opponent to have her blood, she just needs to spill it. Her powers are somewhat weakened by sunlight, though.
Syande has gained the ability to use magic from a friend known as Malice, having been given the Ember Wand. Taught to use magic such as Dark Arts from this alternative Harry Potter dimension "villain", Syande knows how to use magic on the field of combat. It is unknown how the wand was taken outside the view of the Ministry of Magic, but Syande is capable of using skills such as the Killing Curse, the Freezing Charm, and more.
Relationships with Other Characters
Syande generally doesn't give a lick of attention to Scotch, often evading his calls and not responding well to calls on the battlefield. She also tends to find him to be some sort of sore sport, not liking his fully serious personality and preferring to do as she pleases. At the same time, she understands how important his missions are and will join if she finds it to be absolutely mandatory. Her biggest problems with Scotch are that he's really annoying...and rather bossy.
There is very little appreciation Syande stores for Snickers, if at all, for how rude and despicable he behaves. Like with Scotch, she tends to ignore everything Snickers says, but does it on a much larger scale due to his hateful words and his generally annoying personality. She admits to being somewhat self-centered, although finds Snickers' ego much more obvious and purely ugly. Her expectations for Snickers are pretty low, she treats all of his compliments as hidden lies.
The two were initially in a relationship, but Syande broke up due to the apparent lack of interest Brook had in her and the fact that he always spent time away from her, working with Scotch. While she acknowledges how important it is for him to work with Scotch, she was fairly upset they never had any time together. They eventually broke up silently after Syande found him to be kinda dull and uninteresting. But despite all of that, they remain good friends.
Syande is quite fond of Rubelline and finds her to be good company, and is quite interested in her life, for after all she is a vampire (as are other Tiffts). Syande would rather behave secure and unbelievably calm around most people, but with Rubelline, she feels that she can let out her voice easier and express her real emotions. She trusts Rubelline, although not as much of her siblings, with most of everything, even her real first name. Syande has a lot of faith in Rubelline too. They were dating, but Syande eventually let this go, having lost confidence in the idea of putting up with "competition". Her leaving Rubelline had made her deeply discomforted, and tried to pass this through Miran.
After having recently broken up with Miran, she met up with Rubelline again purely by chance, and decided to take the opportunity to throw her past behind her and restart a potential relationship with the Tifft.
Syande and Miran got along well for every instance they spent together, from the day Miran bit Syande's neck to the day they began dating. Initially Syande showed her concerns for dating due to the enormous amount of partners she had before and wasn't sure if Miran would appreciate that, but the old vampire shrugged it off so they're dating. Syande typically vents her problems through her relationship and always listens for Miran's words. Syande also finds Miran to be kinda cute in a way, despite her extreme age.
They ended up in a silent breakup, and Syande continued to push aimlessly for a relationship.
- Syande's name was initially Smartie, but upon being bitten by a vampire, she decided to use a different alias so that she wouldn't embarrass herself in front of the vampire. Not very long afterwards, she made a legal name change and ditched the candy theme of her siblings' names.
