- On July 19, 2011 the series was revealed to be finishing after one more game and the kart racing game.
- On July 30, 2011 the kart racing game's name was revealed as Game Freak: Kart Racing Extreme. It was also revealed that the series will have another game, having the total number of main game being 4.
- On September 1, 2011 (the creator's birthday), the title of the third and final Game Freak games: Game Freak: HAX's Last Stand (#3) and Game Freak: Future Hacks, the latter being set in the future with Jake's children saving the real-world, from the evil democracy of Dr. Hackle. 3 bosses in the third game were also revealed, being Ekaj, Mr. Hackastrophe, and Agent 01000001 01110100 01101111 01101101 01101001 01100011 (also known as Bin R. Iecoed). Joltie is also known to have a larger role in HAX's Last Stand, then even Bob and Boeb.
