Game Boy Color 64 is an add-on for the Nintendo 64, released in 2000. The add-on is the N64 equivalent to the SNES's Super Game Boy, which was released in 1994. However, unlike the SGB, it can play clear GBC carts, and is compatible with the Game Boy Link Cable.

The GBC64 is similar in function to the Super Game Boy. It plays both original Game Boy games, exclusive Game Boy Color games, and games made for the GBC, but are also backwards compatible with the GB (such as Pac-Man)
