The Float Island VirtualRealm is a virtual reality game system headset created and manufactured by Float Island Inc. It was officially released on a March 12, 2015.
The president of Float Island Inc., Jacen Neal, was watching Sword Art Online one day when he decided to make a virtual reality game system like the ones from the TV show. After one whole year, the game system, called the Float Island VirtualRealm, was finished. The price was set for $500, and it began selling on March 12, 2015. The design closely resembles the NerveGear from the TV show. To turn the game system on, you have to put it on your head, close your eyes, and say, "Power on!"
Of course, the VirtualRealm can play VirtualRealm games, but it can also play Wii, Wii U, UltraCube, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, and New Nintendo 3DS games by taking you into a virtual reality where you are in a room, playing your game on one of the previously mentioned systems.
