"Flip The Frog" is an upcoming game made by Icy Cold Gaming Industries. It is the first game in an entirely new series, Flip The Frog. The game will be coming out for the Wii U in the summer of 2016, and may get a V2 and a Nintendo NX port. It stars Flip and his many friends and enemies, including Cobby, his brother and his best friend.

Gameplay

The game is being ported to two consoles: the Wii U and the V2. Both have different control schemes, but for the first time in the V2's history, the Wii U Gamepad can be used as a controller! The game will play much like The Legend Of Zelda, with a big expansive world packed to the brim with content that you can search through, along with some Banjo-Kazooie and Super Mario Sunshine elements mixed in with it. It will have different gameplay styles in it, though. A leaked screenshot showed Flip flying in an Arwing-like vehicle over an ocean, showing off a new game style.

One rumored feature is "Musical Stags." These stages will function to a specific rhythm, much like Rayman Legends. If you beat a stage, you get a collectable.

Trivia

  • When ported to the V2, the game will either come as a stand alone game, or you can buy the Flip V2 bundle, which comes with the game, 4 standard controllers, and a V2 console. The controllers and console with marked with a special "Swamp Stamp" design, which brown and green being the primary colors with Flip's "seal of approval" is on the left of the front of the console. This is the same with the Wii U bundle, except with a gamepad and two Pro Controllers.
  • The game was going to have a Nintendo 3DS port, but was cancelled due to limitations on the 3DS.
