A Fire Bro. is like a Hammer Bro. but can shoot Fireballs. They first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3. They appear in almost every New Super Mario Bros. game, sometimes they are more common in the game than their relatives.They have a red shell and helmet. They can stand extreme heat and some can even stand fire and even lava. They have a relative named Fire Koopa.

Sloppy Fire Bros. make an appearance as common enemies in World 8 in Super Sloppy Bros., along with Sloppy Hammer Bros., Ice Bros., and Boomerang Bros.
Super Mario RanchEdit
Fire Bros. reappear in Super Mario Ranch as an evolution to Hammer Bros.. They appear when a Hammer Bro. is given a Fire Flower, and turns back into the Hammer Bro. when given a Hammer Flower. They also appear in the wild in Bowser Peak and Magic Grove.
