Yoshi's Island is the main location of the series. It appears as a playable action stage in Super Smash Bros. Global Apocalypse's Story Mode. Matthew and Yoshi are playable in this stage.

The stage is based off of the same location from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It features multiple locations such as sea, swamps, mountains, mountain peaks, forests and temples. The stage also features very similar graphic styles to the game, which are like drawings. There are multiple hazards as well as enemies from the Yoshi series in this stage.
