Marvel vs. Fantendo: Battleworlds is a reboot of Marvel vs. Fantendo created by Toroko with involvement from .scatteredreams (t∣b∣c). It is a fighting game, crossing over the Marvel and Fantendo franchises. The game takes place in it's own Fantendo and Marvel continuity, although obviously taking inspiration from the things that came before. Particularly, the Fantendoverse seen in this game is based off the New Fantendoverse.
A spin-off of this game, created by Sr.Wario (t∣b∣c) was created under the name of Marvel vs. Fantendo: Warzones. This is a smaller game with street-level heroes making up most of the roster, and features a new plot with The Hand and Queen Mallory as the villains.
Gameplay[]
Basics[]
Marvel vs. Fantendo: Battleworlds is similar to Kingdoms of Fighters with it's simplified gameplay, featuring standard attacks and special attacks that can be executed through directional inputs ala Super Smash Bros.. It features 3v3 battles, with characters being able to tag in and out at any time. The fight ends when all three characters have been eliminated, with no rounds inbetween. All fighters will share a Infinity Gauge, which executes a Infinity Stone attack. However, they do not share a Assist Meter or Special Meter and will slowly build both meters up while in reserve or through attacking or getting damaged.
Infinity Stones[]
Infinity Stones appear similar to their appearance in Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite. The player can select a single stone for a battle, and each has different effects.
Plot[]
Synopsis[]
Taking place after similar versions of the events of Captain America: Civil War and Days of Victory, the heroes are united but need rest. A mysterious being known as the Beyonder glances at the New Fantendoverse and the Marvel Universe and is fascinated with the two, finding their potential interesting. Strange buildings pop up in both universes and the parties from each universe go to investigate, only to find themselves in BATTLEWORLD!!! Created from pieces from both universes, The Beyonder declares the two universes battle for his approval, telling the two that the planet is stocked with various alien weapons and technology. Telling the two universes that his approval will grant the universes with whatever they desire should they win, the two universes are now against each other, although Unten and Captain America are attempting to solve the situation in a more peaceful manner.

The villains and heroes emerge outside to see Thanos and Dr. Doom go out of the pods, joining the villains. After the fight, the heroes and villains split off to focus, with Captain America still having the Infinity Gauntlet. Sam and Shiki are sent out to scour the plateau for more useful materials. The villains meet, with most loyalty going towards Dr. Doom, although tensions rise between him and Thanos. The two are stopped by Zellen, who convinces them to at least try and win, because she really wants a unlimited supply of Stenographer Stones and if they screw that up for her, she'll send them to the Punch Dimension. The two agree to get along for now. Sam and Shiki glance around, looking for any Infinity Gems or cool stuff they can use as weapons but just find Aran and Volt, who are scared and confused. Sam takes them back as Shiki sniffs around for more alien weapons. Volt and Aran get comfy at the hero base as Unten goes back out to find Shiki, suddenly confronted by Spider-Beorn. Zellen then summons in R. Vogue in order to show her abilities off, but the group seems disinterested. Back at the hero's base, Arial spots a strange being in the distance. Taking a trek toward it, they find out that it is Galacta, the daughter of Galactus. They attempt to wake her up, although Iron Man quickly tells them what a bad idea that would be. Netnu deduces that Galacta is the only deity among their cast aside from maybe Silver, and that her hunger, if cured, would only benefit everyone. Netnu attempts to convince the group that managing to make Galacta the winner of the Battleworld challenge is the the best solution, although some respond with skepticism. Nebula in the meantime, attempts to attack Thanos in a sneak attack. Battle: Thanos vs Nebula Thanos defeats Nebula and sends her out into a canyon using Zellen's portal powers to dispose of her, abandoning her. Thanos decides that he can not trust anyone anymore, and begins to thrash through the other opponents. He uncovers the Space Gem under some sand and uses it to summon his Black Order to his side, departing to create his own base. The heroes return to find the ship smashed up, and a napping Thorn on a table. Thorn explains that she has been wandering the wilderness and found a weird cool green gem, of which Unten grabs and puts on the Infinity Gauntlet.
