A Wallop.
A Wallop (also known as donpyon) is an enemy that debuts in Super Mario 3D Land. It is sub-species of a Whomp. They attack by blocking Mario's path and they can Ground Pound the ground to smash Mario. It reappears in Super Mario 3D World and Ultra Mario World. It has a sub-species called an Elite Wallop, it will chase Mario and slam down on him. It is very fast and agressive. It is also an unlockable racer in Ultra Mario Kart and Bowser Kart Unlimited.

An Elite Wallop.
An Elite Wallop is a dark gray Wallop with red eyes. When Mario/Luigi come near the Wallop it will chase them and try to Ground Pound on them. It can jump higher and run faster. It is undefeatable just like a normal one. It only appears in Super Mario 3D World.
