Once an ordinary traveller, Visor was on pursuit of Inferno, Hiro's brother, on the planet Alpha Centauri, but was taken by an unknown but greatly powerful and evil force, possibly Wraith, his whole body was converted into metal and plastic, but also refined with a terraforming heart, so he could easily change back into his old flesh and blood self.
