CANON APPEARANCES
Retro. (cancelled)

Bit is a young Blik and the main protagonist of the cancelled game Retro. He is a carefree and cheerful young Blik and the younger brother of Byt, whom he cares for deeply as he is her sole living relative. After his sister, a government scientist, was called to work and does not return, Bit sets off on an adventure to find her.

Personality[]

Bit is the main protagonist of the game, and the sister of Byt. He is brave and heroic.
Retro. character description

Bit is described as a "brave" and "heroic" Blik, though in reality these traits come more from his impulsive nature as he rarely thinks before jumping into any situation. Regardless, Bit is a kind fellow who will always attempt to help those in need, although more often than not he generally does not know how to and becomes more a hindrance than anything else. He is an avid fan of the game PixLxiP, a two-player board game that sees Bliks competing against each other to turn all pieces on the board one colour.

Physical Appearance[]

The Blik species are all rectangular with small faces present on one end, and thus Bit is no exception. Bit is light silver in colour, a rarity among the Blik species, though he possesses no other remarkable traits.

Abilities[]

Bit possesses no special abilities compared to other Bliks. Though he lacks limbs, Bit possesses a weak form of telekinesis that allows him to pick up objects. As Bit is still young, his telekinesis has not developed fully and thus he can not lift some objects that elder Bliks can.

Like all Bliks should they come in contact with them, Bit is able to change into a variety of different forms by using the top secret and experimental Mods. These Mods change Bit's appearance and abilities drastically, granting him a variety of different abilities. There four different Mods that each grant Bit different abilities: Blik-Brick, Boom Blick, Beluga Blik, and Soaked Blik.

  • The Blik-Brick Mod grants Bit an extraordinary amount of defence, making him nigh-unstoppable. However, as it gives Bit the properties of a clay brick, it also makes him far heavier; thus preventing him from swimming or even jumping. Thus, he must use his strength as a Blik-Brick to his advantage, tackling any enemies with his advantage in weight.
  • The Boom Blik Mod grants Bit a Magnesium shell and the ability to detonate himself, albeit only once before the Mod expires and he returns to his normal form. The detonation of a Boom Blik is extremely strong and Bit is capable of using it in order to destroy blocks that prevent him from progressing.
  • The Beluga Blik Mod allows Bit to swim underwater: while Bit can swim normally, he, like all Bliks, will float up to the water's surface, preventing him from scouring the depths; thus the Beluga Blik remedies this fact. The Beluga Blik Mod essentially transforms Bit into a nautical creature in all regards and thus can remain underwater indefinitely, though is unable to return to the surface while in this state.
  • The Soaked Blik Mod is a strange one, as it simply causes Bit to overheat and sweat uncontrollably. This however can be used to his advantage as Bliks do not sweat normally, and the "sweat" he releases is in fact purified water. Thus, the water he releases can be used to help plants grow or put out fires. Additionally, Bit gains a flotation device in this form, allowing him to swim across the surface of water at a higher speed than normal.

Game Appearances[]

Retro.[]

Bit was set to debut in Retro., a platforming game by Leading Games that has since been cancelled. Bit was to be the protagonist of the game, who journeyed across both the planets Bitts and Polygannial in order to locate his sister, who had gone missing.

Fantendo Sports Wii[]

To promote his then-upcoming debut in Retro., Bit was added as a playable character in Fantendo Sports Wii. The story explains his appearance in the game as him finding a mysterious door while playing sports, leading him to enter it and find himself among a cast of other Fantendo characters in a massive sporting tournament.

Fantendo Smash Bros. Remix[]

Main article: BIT: Ain't It Retro?

Bit makes a surprise playable appearance in the game Fantendo Smash Bros. Remix. As his game origin no longer exists on the wiki, Bit's moveset is completely original, and his profile thus pokes fun at his lack of personality and information while referencing his sole remaining appearance in Fantendo Sports Wii. Fantendo Smash Bros. Remix also introduces Bit's ability to control pixels, stretch his body seemingly indefinitely, and gather pixels in order to create a sword or transform into the powerful 3Dragon and 9Dragon forms.
