Terminus X9 is a character in the Doom Dome Battle series. He appears playable in the first two games and returns as a recurring boss in Mission Alpha. He is a creation of Nikolai Pyrotic who is send to stop Cyberno.α.
Description[]
Terminus X9 is a robot with a thick German accent that was created by Professor Pyrotic. It is a robot made for the sole purpose to serve him and listen to his every demand. Terminus also deeply admires his creator and gladly does anything for him. He loves to create chaos and is super carefree, the only worry being if his creator loves his creation. After the passing of his master, Terminus became even more focused on killing Alpha, but at the same time struggles with Pyrotic's son having taken over the place... and basically having his master as his salve.
Gameplay[]
Terminus mainly relies on his two weapons, the chainsaw arm and his shotgun arm. He is a strong and agile fighter but also rather slow. His attacks also have some build up time but are very powerful when landed. His normal attacks are decent speed but also do less damage.
His Doom Attack is He'll Be Back in which he grabs the opponent and rapidly beats them up till they are completely wrecked, however if the attack KO's them he saw off their arms and lets them bleed out.
Story[]
Doom Dome Battle[]
Terminus X9 is activated by Professor Pyrotic after the invasion of the extraterrestrials. However Pyrotic's first mission is to kill an agents that was there to keep an eye on Pyrotic and afterwards he was sent to kill Mayor Wildefort. He finds Mayor Wildefort in his office where he fights him and wins. When ready to kill Wildefort, the man himself drops a bomb that freezes his entire body and surrounding area. Terminus decides to leave the scene instead.
He returns back to the laboratory to say that Wildefort won't pose as a problem anymore. However when leaving the mayor's office he encounters Alpha who battles him. Terminus is KO's and down on the ground. After Alpha leaves, Vespa enters and picks Terminus up to return him to the laboratory. He is there for most of the time until Alpha enters again. Terminus then shoots at both Vespa and Alpha. Vespa takes Alpha and escapes.
He then is ordered to take Wildefort out for good to stop Alpha. On his way he is stopped by Ultra-Man to whom he loses. He later encounters Melissa and NEO and fights with NEO as Melissa continues. After defeating NEO he has a change of heart about working for Pyrotic and thinks of living his own life as well.
At the end of the game he has gone his own path, but finds Pyrotic's body. Saddened by the sight of it he harvests his organs and makes a call to this son.
Doom Dome Battle 2[]
In the second game he helps Denzel restore Pyrotic and put him in a robotic body, Terminus however has no intention to work for Denzel and tries to discover who he can be.
Mission Alpha[]
In this alternate future he is still loyal to Professor Pyrotic, but now as Terminus X9-2. He is the first boss fought in the game by Alpha, but lets her live and flees the scene. He later steals the Memory Flash Drive of Alpha when Denzel completed the download of Alpha's memories on it and hands it over to Dolan Flump. The man himself steals the energy of Alpha after he is defeated by Alpha and gives them Terminus who takes Dolan to safety. Terminus is seen again when Alpha confronts Pyrotic, but is ordered to travel to the past. After defeating Pyrotic, Alpha and Wildefort chase Terminus and defeat him once and for all.
