Pokemon Snap U is a sequel of Pokemon Snap for the Wii U. It is being developed by Nintendo and is set for a 2014 release.
Gameplay[]
The gameplay is very similar to Pokemon Snap, but the player takes pictures by rotating the Wii U Gamepad and pressing ZR to take the picture. The ZL button can zoom in on the target. The player can also fly the ZERO-SIX on a set path in aerial levels. While flying, the player must balance the Wii U Gamepad while taking pictures. Also, bosses can be fought, where the player must weaken the boss to take good pictures under a time limit. Bosses are unlocked by taking pictures of all the Pokemon in a stage. In Easy Mode, the Pokemon move slower, and in Hard Mode, the Pokemon move faster.
Plot[]
In the Xenos Islands, islands close to the Hoenn region, Professor Oak has sent Todd Snap, a photographer to take pictures of Pokemon. Todd meets Professor Birch, who reveals to have developed the ZERO-SIX. He takes Todd's ZERO-ONE and gives Todd his own vechicle. Todd then takes off to find rare Pokemon.
After defeating all the bosses, Professor Birch shows Todd the new ZERO-SEVEN which can travel into the Hall of Origin and photograph Arceus itself. Todd photos Arceus and goes back to his dimension to show the world.
