Super Mario Hyper is the first installment of the Hyper V. Super Mario Hyper is a 3D platformer. The gameplay is similar to Super Mario 64 involveing the player going after Power Stars in missions. The game also includes new gameplay and references from other Mario games.

Gameplay[]
Super Mario Hyper is much like the games Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario 3D Land. The goal in the game is to collect Power Stars by going in paintings and doing missions. The player has to get enough to unlock new missions and paintings to go in. To get power stars the player must complete certain objectives depending on the mission. While in a mission the player has a health guage that depletes when an enemy or projectile is hit. If the whole guage depletes then a life is lost. The game has Power-Ups like the Super Mushroom that gives the player an extra health guage unit until a mission is complete.
Story[]
Each planet in the universe has a dazzling, shining, enchanted Grand Star. Without the star the whole planet will spring out of orbit in only a matter of days. Each Grand Star is hidden ever-so carefully on the planet. And a Universal Guardian also watches over these stars. However, the Grand Stars contain pure power, some pepole want this power bad enough to steal it. Trouble lies ahead, someone is seeking this Grand Star, who will guard this star at nightime? And protect the planet?
Mario gets a letter from Peach saying:"Dear, Mario, I was wondering if you could check on Bowser. He hasn't been up to any trouble like he usually does. I just want to know whats going on"-Peach. Mario runs to Bowser's Castle and spies on him. Mario sees the planet's Grand Star and pursuits to it in attempt to save the Grand Star. Mario is noticed by a Kamek and the Kemek prepares to shoot a magic ball and shoots one at the exact moment Mario grabs the Grand star and..... the Grand Star explodes into many power stars scattering into nautral hiding places called Paint Worlds. And is lunched back to Peach's Castle. Mario goes inside and Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Toadette and Peach are gone. Mario decides to go in a Painting but screams "help me!!!" when he gets in. Yoshi hears this and a Toad tells him about the only way to free the five are to collect power stars and beat bosses to get the keys. Yoshi heads for the Painting called Goomba Goombo Battlefield to collect the first power-star and reunite the Grand Star before the planet falls.
