Battle of the Universes

Battle of the Universes is an upcoming fighting game to be developed by GalaxySoft Inc. It will combine multiple series, and it has been announced to be turned into a series. The sequel will be titled Battle of the Universes 2: Into Oblivion .

Gameplay

The gameplay of Battle of the Universes is very similar to both the Super Smash Bros. series and the Street Fighter series. Each character attacks using what they can find, and some characters can summon other characters to help them attack. There are 4 different battle types; Stand-Off (a normal battle for up to 4 players), Roleplay (an RPG styled battle for 6), Boxing Ring (two people face off inside a boxing ring), and Special (random rules are selected before the fight).

Each of the characters have their own Assisters, which help them fight off enemies easier.

Sonic the Hedgehog	Sonic the Hedgehog	The blue blur is always on the run! Sonic is one of the fastest characters in the game, but this can cause some instant KOs.
Angry Video Game Nerd	Cinemassacre	The AVGN never fails to spot something in a game. He uses his trusty NES Zapper and other gaming accesories to attack.
Calvin and Hobbes	Calvin and Hobbes	These two act as a tag-team, and can be switched out. While Calvin prefers to use his toys to fight, Hobbes does karate in order to survive.
Dan Mandel	Dan VS.	Dan has some major anger issues. He uses stuff that he found after his rages to wage war on not only the world, but his fellow fighters.
Mega Man	Mega Man	A very diverse robot who uses lots of his powers. Mega Man can easily destroy his opponents.
Numbuh 1	Codename: Kids Next Door	"Kids Next Door, battle stations!" is this British child-spy's battle cry. Numbuh 1 uses his 2x4 tech to attack.
Nostalgia Critic	Nostalgia Critic	The Nostalgia Critic is almost the exact opposite of the Angry Video Game Nerd. He uses people and things from his reviews as "weaponry".
Papa Louie	Papa Louie	This Italian pizza chef is unlike any other. Papa Louie has a huge franchise of resturants from which he uses ingredients to survive.
Unten	Fantendo	Unten is Fantendo's mascot, who just happens to be a blue bear. This guy attacks using projectiles borrowed from his friends.

	Codename: Kids Next Door	A genius who could even rival Tails in engineering, Numbuh 2 (a.k.a. Hoagie P. Gilligan Jr.) acts as the brains of Sector V.	Numbuh 2 comes in on the C.O.O.L.B.U.S. and gives Numbuh 1 full health.
	Codename: Kids Next Door	Only this kid knows the Austrailian word for "Ouch!" Numbuh 4 is the toughest member of Sector V.	Numbuh 4 starts giving uppercuts to foes.

There are a total of 20 characters that can be found within the game.

	Papa Louie	Roy, often referred to as "Delivery Boy Roy", is the nephew of Papa Louie. He has crafted weapons out of spare pizza boxes and duct tape.	Win 75 matches.
	Codename: Kids Next Door	Abigail "Abby" Lincoln (also known as Numbuh 5) always brings the goods to her sector. She has a red cap that attacks like a boss.	Complete Story Mode as Numbuh 1.
	Minecraft	Notch (according to Minecraft fans) is one of the most powerful beings in the universe. His moveset involves Minecraftian tools and weaponry.	Win the Challenge "Meet your Maker".
Luigi	Super Mario	Luigi is the taller and twin brother of Mario. While he's not as strong, Luigi uses a more unique moveset than his bro.	Complete Story Mode as Mario.
	Calvin and Hobbes	This girl may look weak at first glance, but Susie packs a punch. She mainly uses her dolls as part of her moveset.	Win 50 matches.
	Scooby-Doo	Shaggy Rogers joins the fight! His attacks are based on stuff he's used over the years.	Win the Challenge "Cartoon Chaos".
	Club Penguin	Lots of animals have invaded this game, but now there's a penguin?! Gary is the EPF's inventor and brainiac. His attacks are mostly his failed inventions.	Complete Story Mode as every starter video game character.
Robin	Teen Titans	The leader of the Teen Titans and former sidekick to Batman. Robin uses both physical attacks and weapon-based moves to gain an advantage.	Win 100 matches.
	deviantART	Fella is no limbless fellow. He's the mascot of deviantART! Fella uses his arms and fan-created weapons to fight.	Complete Story Mode as all characters
Knuckles the Echidna	Sonic the Hedgehog	This guardian's got no time for weapons! His brawn is his signature attack.	Complete Story Mode as Sonic.
Tabuu	Super Smash Brothers	Tabuu is a mysterious deity said to hail from Subspace. He has been depowered by a strange new villain, and fights only using his weaker attacks.	Win the Challenge "Destiny's First Dawn".
	WarioWare	Bet you weren't expecting these guys! 9-Volt and 18-Volt fight together, almost like brothers. They use common Nintendo items to battle their way to victory.	Win 125 matches.
TMNT (Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michaelangelo)	Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles	This quartet of turtles are also the best of bros! The TMNT can switch out, giving them an advantage in battle.	Win the Challenge "Genetically Engineered Ninjas?!?"
Link	Legend of Zelda	The Hero of Time has returned! Link's arsenal includes bombs, the Master Sword, a shield, and several other items.	Complete Story Mode as a Nintendo character.
Edd Gould	Eddsworld	Can this day get any weirder? Edd joins the fight, but he uses some soda for his defense. Is it just me, or does that not make any sense?	Win 300 matches.
	Team Fortress	Three classes, one player slot. The Pyro attacks using mostly fire, the Spy with his spy-tech, and the Heavy with his heavy weapons.	TBA
Kirby	Kirby	The adorable pink puffball arrives to battle for the universes! Kirby's moveset is based around his powers. He can also suck in other players for additional moves.	Win the challenge "Nintendo Power".
Nester	Nintendo Power	Nester was the major mascot of Nintendo Power until he left in 1994. He attacks using his NES Zapper DX and bowling ball to attack.	Win the challenge "Nintendo Power: The Final Issue".
Captain Falcon	F-Zero	Captain Falcon reports for duty! His brawn acts as his weapon, rivaling Knuckles in strength.	Complete Story Mode as Mario and Luigi.

Bosses

There are 8 bosses throughout the Story Mode; one for each area.

	Kamek	Super Mario	Kamek, Bowser's personal assistant, is the first boss! He transports the players to his library, where they have been shrunk.	Kamek will shrink the players, causing him to become bigger. The player must avoid his magic while collecting ink blots to fire at him.
	The Delightful Children from Down the Lane	Codename: Kids Next Door	"Oh, you've come to play a little game with us?" The Delightful Children say before the battle.	The Delightful Children arrive in the Really Really Incredibly Destructive Machine. They use the machine's flaming chainsaws to send fire waves across the arena.
	Herobrine	Minecraft	The mythical Herobrine- he's real! Herobrine is one of the toughest bosses in the game.	Herobrine will fly around the stage, dropping TNT and Spiders whilst. When he stops, he'll charge up a beam, during which he is vulnerable.
	The Being of All	Battle of the Universes	A mysterious  being said to have created the multiverse. It is the final boss.	Phase 1: It shoots the player with Buster Shots. After firing 8 of them, he summons Tabuu's sword. Once he takes 5 hits, Phase 2 begins. Phase 2: The being starts firing large fire balls across the stage. While he's charging, he is vulnerable to atttacks.

Finishers

Finishers, are well, the finishing moves of each character. They can be activated once the FINAL meter is charged completely.

Mario	Fire Mario Mario pulls out a Fire Flower and becomes Fire Mario. He then can charge up fire balls, allowing for massive damage. Before the finisher is over, he launches a massive fire wave.
Sonic the Hedgehog	Excalibur's Power Sonic becomes Excalibur Sonic and slashes opponents with his sword.
Angry Video Game Nerd	Glitch Glitch Glitch The Glitch Gremlin appears and glitches out the stage while overpowering the Nerd.
Nostalgia Critic	The Disney Aftermath The characters from the Disney Afternoon shows appear and help the Nostalgia Critic fight. The Critic uses some Gummi Bear Juice to power up.
Calvin and Hobbes	Calvinball Calvin and Hobbes grab some sports equipment  and they use them in some of the strangest ways possible. Right before it finishes, they use lacrosse sticks and basketballs to K.O the opponents on-screen.
Dan Mandel	Balloon Pop Dan summons several hot air balloons and throws his lighter at them, causing a huge explosion.
Mega Man	Super Adapter Rush appears and turns Mega Man into Super Mega Man. He then punches opponents using an uppercut.
Numbuh 1	Kids Next Door, Battle Stations! Numbuh 1 calls in his sector to battle. The S.C.A.M.P.E.R. slides through the arena, resulting in amazing damage.
Papa Louie	Pizza Monster Attack Several Pizza Monsters appear and shoot cheese at enemies, holding them in place until they escape or when the finisher ends.
Unten	The Blue Unten becomes The Blue and speeds around the stage, similar to Sonic's attacks. He can also fling enemies using his super strength.
Mewshi	Stormy Side Up Tons of Mewshi Eggs rain onto the stage, allowing for some massive damage. Mewshi also summons a mega Eggdozer to finish off the attack.
Roy	When Burgers Attack! Several Burgerzillas invade the stage, causing Roy to jump into a bush off-screen. The Burgerzillas' can spawn Army Onions, Bacoburns, and even Radley Madish while they are active.
Numbuh 5	Candy Hunt Numbuh 5 enters a vault filled with candy, causing it to trap some of the opponents. She then throws it off a cliff, instantly killing everyone inside.
Notch	Mob Squadron Notch calls on the mobs of Minecraft to fight for him. Creepers explode, Cave Spiders poison players, and the Wither fires its heads onto the stage.
Luigi	Poltergust of the Elements Luigi pulls out his Poltergust and sucks in all of the elements from Luigi's Mansion. Each of them do different attacks; Fire: A vertical bar of fire is shot from the Poltergust, spinning around after it is shot. Ice: The beam of ice shot out can freeze any opponents it hits. Water: The stage is filled with water. After this occurs, Luigi sucks in the water and all the opponents as well.

9-Volt & 18-Volt	Tetris Tunes 18-Volt grabs his beatbox and 9-Volt pulls out his box of Tetriminos. A remixed version of Tetris Theme A plays while Tetriminos are placed in the fashion of the original game.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles	Half-Shell Heroes
Link	Shadowed Crystal Link grabs a Shadow Crystal, turning him into Wolf Link. Wolf Link can then pounce on opponents, causing them to turn into wolves.
Edd Gould	Cola Flood Edd opens a giant can of Coca-Cola, causing anyone who gets into it's flow (besides Edd) to get washed out for a knockout.
Team Fortress (Heavy, Pyro, Spy)	Man vs. Machine
Kirby	Ultra Sword Kirby gains an Ultra Sword ability and slashes multiple times at opponents that are on the screen.
