Items
Power-Ups
Sprite | Power-Up | Instruction Booklet Description |
---|---|---|
Super Mushroom | The plumber's favorite power-up that makes his bigger and stronger than before. If he gets hit by a baddie however, he will shrink back to normal. This familiar power-up can be found almost anywhere. | |
Giant Mushroom | This shroom is a bit harder to find than it's super cousins, but with this rare power-up, the Mario Bros. can destroy just about everything in their path in a limit of time, including Bowser... | |
Fire Flower | A strange flower with the power to make the heroic plumber that touches it have the power to scorch quite a few different enemies, but he better be careful. One punch and he'll turn back to Super Mario. | |
Ice Flower | Another amazing power flower that has the ability to make the Mario Bros. shoot ice instead of fire. It can only freeze the creature for a limit of time though, so watch out. This cool items are only found in cold climates. | |
Starman | A rare galactic power-up that is most found in secret blocks and out in the galaxy. As rare as it is, this item can make Mario or Luigi invincible for a limit of time only. Grab one of these and make a run for it! | |
Super Leaf | This may look like a normal brown leaf, blowing in the wind, but this sweet power-up can make Mario or Luigi a raccoon. As crazy as it sounds, the raccoon suit allows the bro. wearing it to fly and bop buddies and blocks with his tail. | |
Hammer Suit | Another suit, similar to the raccoon suit, only it allows Mario or Luigi to toss hammers at enemies, just like a Hammer Bro. It also lets him hide inside his shell to avoid enemies but is quite scarce. | |
Yoshi Egg | A special egg power-up that hatches into the cute dinosaur, Yoshi. He will allow the plumber to ride on him until he hits an enemy, then he runs wild! Use his tongue to swallow most of you enemies whole and lay eggs that can hatch into new items. | |
Apple | A common fruit power-up for Yoshi that makes the green dino grow wings and fly around and shoot fireballs like the famous fiery flower power-up for Mario but can no longer swallow enemies after eating the apple. |
