Super Smash Bros. Royale is the fifth game of the famous Super Smash Bros. series of fighting games. It will be for the Nintendo Switch and will come out on July 9, 2018.

Modes[]
Royale[]
The standard mode in the game. Up to 8 players can battle it out in 3 types of matches- Free-For-All, Survival, and Coin Challenge.
Special Royale[]
This is just like regular Royale- but with different conditions and handicaps, like making all characters slow or fast, giant or tiny, and more.
Tourney[]
Up to 32 players can battle in out in this mode! Climb the brackets and win that trophy!
Solo[]
If you're alone or you're born of Royale, take a whirl with this mode! You're bound to find a mode within that suits you.
Classic[]
Fight your way through a gauntlet of 8 rounds against random foes! At the very end, you'll end up facing special bosses not seen in Royale mode!

Master Core[]
At the highest difficulties, you can get the chance to fight Master Core, returning from SSB4. As like the last game, Master Core is fought in a variety of forms, which expands if the difficulty is harder. Bold denotes new forms.

- 6.0: Master Scorpion
- 7.0: Master Roc, Master Beast
- 8.0: Master Giant
- 9.0: Master Fortress
Adventure Mode[]
Explore many worlds, battle many enemies, and prove yourself to be the ultimate Smasher! Some stages only contain Royale battles, while some is a platforming level filled with many familiar enemies. At the end of this mode, you'll face off against an end-game boss, with the number of forms depending on your difficulty.
Events[]
Fight through different scenarios with strict handicaps! Anything's possible in this mode... There are also Co-Op Events that allows 2 players to play in special events not seen in Single-Player Events!
Vault[]
If you want to take a look at trophies, play games from the past, or jam out to some tunes, this is the place you're looking for!

DLC Pack 1: Rejoining the Brawl[]
Two fan favorites from Super Smash Bros. Brawl return! This DLC pack contains the characters Wolf and Snake, as well as the Shadow Moses Island stage from Brawl.
DLC Pack 2: Rivals[]
And now, fight your rival! This DLC pack contains Masked Man and Spade, as well as two stage- Fourside from Melee, and all-new stage Shang Mu.
