After Mario saved the Princess and the toads. Mario, Toadstool and Blue and Yellow Toad ate the Cake tha tToadstool promised they decide to sit and talk. After Mario's story of his adventure Yoshi came running to tell that he has a letter from Bowser. Dear Pesky Plumber
The minions and I stuffed all the Yoshis in item boxes where you could never find them also I kidnapped some Toads too I dare you to find them

So Mario Blue Toad, Yellow Toad, and Peach run of to their adventure right when they leave the castle they ran straight into Luigi. Who yells at Mario and his friends and later follows them.
