Super Mario Bros. 10 is a game based off the quote, "Once in a Blue Moon". It has many returning things and new things which are balanced most of the time. There are sometimes when only returning things are there and sometimes only new things are there. The game is more puzzle-based, but not straying away from the usual gameplay.

Gameplay

Solo Play

Solo Play is the main narrative of the game. Only 1 player can play this at a time. It is divided into to chapters. (eg. 1-1=Chapter 1-1). Somtimes there are also parts to the chapter that happen at the same time, and adds more digits. (eg. 1-1-A) A=Mario B=Luigi C=Peach D=Daisy E=Kamek. Sometime there are groups. The extra parts can be playable or even cutscenes. Lowercase letters add more detail.. p=Playable, c=Cutscene. (eg. 1-1-AB-p)

Co-op Play

Co-op play is a variation of the main narrative where Mario and Luigi are playable. Player can only use Mario and Player 2 can only use Luigi. The cutscenes and extra gameplay is not added. Instead of chapters, there are just levels.

Point Rush

Point Rush is unlocked in the aftergame part of the story.

Synopsis

Part 1

"Long ago,*A background of Toad Town is shown* the moon was always white. *A background of the Mushroom Moon is shown* One night, the moon was not white. It was blue. *A background of the Blue Mushroom Moon is shown* The full moon had come too early. This greatly affected the Mushroom Kingdom. Items are switched around. *A background of Toad Town is shown with Blue Mushrooms* Now, every year, on February 20, there is a Blue Moon. But, there is one place where the effects of the Blue Moon occur with a flip of a switch.

Part 2

Mario and Luigi are visiting the Blue Mushroom Festival, which only occurs on Febuary 20. The Blue Mushroom Moon is completely visible from the festival. Mario and Luigi see Peach, who is struck by purple and yellow magic, and then disappears. The Koopalings swoop down in their Clown Copters and reveal Peach. They throw her into another clown copter and fly away. Mario comes across a Blue ? Box and then 2 Blue Mushrooms comes out of the ? box. Mario and Luigi become Blue Mario and Blue Luigi. A Blue Brick Block appears and 2 5-Up Mushrooms come out. along the way, to the 1st world, Mario and Luigi lose their Blue forms and Super forms, they start off as Small Mario and Small Luigi.

Chapter 1: Toad Town

Mario and Luigi set off for World 1.  Right now Luigi just follows Mario. He runs off and collects items, to give them to Mario.

Daisy is visiting Peach's Castle. She finds that Peach isn't there and goes to Toad Plaza. The place is dead; no one's there. Kamek appears. Kamek: Hello, Daisy. I don't believe we've had the pleasure to meet. You are the princess of Sarasaland? Daisy: Yeah, and how do you know me? Kamek: You'll be suprised at how much I know. Daisy: OK, so do you know where Peach is? Kamek: Yes. I know exactly where she is. I can take you to her... Daisy: Really? Thanks! But, how are you going to get me to where she is? Kamek: You'll see... Kamek uses magic on Daisy and makes her invisible. A clown copter picks up Daisy and reveals her. Daisy: Wow, this is fun! The copter flies off to Peach.

Mario and Luigi find a pipe that leads underground. Luigi says that he is going back to Toad Town. In the cave Mario finds an Appear Flower.

1-2-B-c

Luigi finds that no one is in Toad Town. A clown copter swoops up Luigi. Purple and Yellow magic appear out of nowhere and Luigi is invisible. Luigi is revealed in the copter. The clown copter flies away. Kamek appears. Kamek: 3 down, 1 to go...

Peach is in a cage somewhere.

1-3-B-cp

Luigi is trapped in a cage. Luigi has a Fire Flower and melts the cage. Luigi finds out he's in Bowser's Castle. Luigi then sneaks around the castle to avoid being caught. Luigi finds a door and walks through it to end the scene.

Daisy is in a cage somewhere. Daisy: This is a weird waiting room... Too bad no one else is here. Kamek: I know, but just wait here. There's lots of people here. Kamek leaves.

1-T-A-p

Mario climbs the tower. At the top, Mario finds Larry Koopa. Kamek flies in. Kamek: What a suprise, it's Mario. Great to see you're in 1 piece. For now... Kamek flies away. Larry Koopa: Mario, you're going down! Mario wins the battle. Larry's clown copter picks him up and flies away. Larry Koopa: I'll get you back for this!!!

Luigi finds a room that has an orange door.

Daisy: I think I'm trapped... I don't hear any noise! ... Or the traffic's cleared up! Maybe Kamek will come and get me. I have to get this Appear Flower to Peach. It's a good thing I packed an extra just in case.

Mario ventures through Larry's Castle. Mario finds Larry Koopa. Kamek flies in. Kamek: What? You're here? I thought you were done! Oh well, no matter. I will have to do something about this. Larry, I'm giving you an advantage. Kamek uses magic. The battle area looks different. It's a tower with rising lava. Larry Koopa: Mario, now I'm using my copter! You'll never reach me on the ground! Mario eventually wins and heads off to world 2. Larry Koopa: No! You'll regret this! Larry flies away.

Mario ventures through Larry's Castle. Mario finds Larry Koopa. Kamek flies in. Kamek: What? You're here? I thought you were done! Oh well, no matter. I will have to do something about this. Larry, I'm giving you an advantage. Kamek uses magic. The battle area looks different. It's a tower with rising lava. Larry Koopa: Mario, now I'm using my copter! You'll never reach me on the ground! Mario eventually wins and heads off to world 3. Larry Koopa: No! You'll regret this! Larry flies away.

Luigi finds Daisy. Daisy: Luigi, is the traffic bad out there? Luigi: What traffic? There's no one that I've seen. Daisy: Were you trapped here? Luigi: Yeah. Daisy: WHAT??? Kamek's going DOWN!!! I'll just use this Appear flower to get out. Daisy makes the cage disappear. Luigi and Daisy head out.

Chapter 2: Desert Hills / Chapter 3: Koopa Beach

World 3 has the same events, but Wendy O. Koopa replaces Roy Koopa. This is marked by: Alternate.

Luigi and Daisy try to escape. They reach a pink door...

Kamek: Master Bowser? Bowser: What? Kamek: I've captured Luigi, Peach, and Daisy. Bowser: Good, they can't interfere. That is crucial to my plan. If they escape, there will be trouble. Kamek: Well, Mario got through the grassland. Bowser: WHAT??? NO!!! I will not accept this! He'll find it! Kamek: Find what? Bowser: Nothing you'll know! Kamek: I'll find out anyways... But if you don't want Mario to find "it", then why don't you just hold on to it. Bowser: It's not portable. Now go stop Mario!!! Kamek: Yes sir... Kamek leaves.

2-2-BD-c

Daisy: I wonder what's in this room? Luigi: You were in a room with an orange door, and I was in a room with a green door. Daisy: You don't think it's Peach... Do you? Luigi: I think she's in there. Let's check! Peach is in a cage. Daisy: Peach, were you kidnapped again? Peach: Yes, the Blue Mushroom Festival got ambushed by the Koopa Troop. What happened to the festival? Daisy: No one was there and someone named Kamek convinced me to take a ride to you. Luigi: I also got taken away at the festival. Daisy: Peach, use this Appear Flower to make the cage disappear. Peach: Thanks. Peach's cage disappears. Peach: We have to escape. Let's go. Daisy: Not now, there's probably tons of enemies in here. We're basically stowaways and if we get caught then we have to wait for Mario. He has to come a long way.

Mario climbs the tower. At the top, Mario finds Roy Koopa. Kamek flies in. Kamek: Mario, you have stopped Bowser many times... But you can't, not this time. Even I don't know what he's capable of now. I will find out... Kamek flies away. Roy Koopa: Mario, don't expect to win easily! Mario wins the battle. Roy's clown copter picks him up and flies away. Roy Koopa: Watch your back!!!

Mario climbs the tower. At the top, Mario finds Wendy O. Koopa. Kamek flies in. Kamek: Mario, you have stopped Bowser many times... But you can't, not this time. Even I don't know what he's capable of now. I will find out... Kamek flies away. Wendy O. Koopa: Mario, I will win! Mario wins the battle. Wendy's clown copter picks her up and flies away. Wendy O. Koopa: NOT FAIR!!! WE'LL MEET AGAIN!!!

Mario ventures through Roy's Castle. Mario finds Roy Koopa. Kamek flies in. Kamek: Bowser's definately got something in store for you. Roy, I'm giving you an advantage. Kamek uses magic. The battle area looks different. It's just a bunch of platforms. Roy Koopa: Mario, now I'm using my copter! You can't outspeed me! Mario eventually wins and heads off to world 4. Roy Koopa: This stinks! I'll be back! Roy flies away.

Mario ventures through Wendy's Castle. Mario finds Wendy O. Koopa. Kamek flies in. Kamek: Bowser's definately got something in store for you. Wendy, I'm giving you an advantage. Kamek uses magic. The battle area looks different. Water geysers burst out. Wendy O. Koopa: Mario, now I'm using my copter! You can't get me in the water! Mario eventually wins and heads off to world 4. Wendy O. Koopa: THIS ISN'T WHAT I WANTED!!! Wendy flies away.

A toad walks in. Toad: Luigi, and Daisy? How'd you get here? Daisy: Were you trapped too? Toad: No, this place has a visitation center. But I can't take anyone out. Daisy: They have a visitation center? That's weird...

Chapter 4: Glacier Park

Kamek: Master Bowser? Bowser: What? I think there's a disturbance in the castle... Bowser: What is it? Kamek: I saw a Toad walking around the castle. Bowser: Yeah, that's the visitation center. Kamek: What??? Bowser: I had extra space... I needed to use it somehow. Kamek: Well, Mario got through the desert. Bowser: WHAT??? DO SOMETHING!!! Kamek: Why can't you? Bowser: I'm busy! Kamek: Doing what? Bowser: My plan! Now go! Kamek: Yes sir... Kamek flies away.

Mario climbs the tower. At the top, Mario finds Lemmy Koopa. Kamek flies in. Kamek: It's so cold here, how do you stand it? Kamek flies away. Lemmy Koopa: Mario, don't go easy! Mario wins the battle. Lemmy's clown copter picks him up and flies away. Lemmy Koopa: This isn't over!!!

Mario ventures through Lemmy's Castle. Mario finds Lemmy Koopa. Kamek flies in. Kamek: Bowser's plan is moving along well. He'll ready b the time you reach him. Lemmy, I'm giving you an advantage. Kamek uses magic. The battle area looks different. Ice platforms are moving everywhere. Lemmy Koopa: Mario, now I'm using my copter! You'll never catch me! Mario eventually wins and heads off to world 5. Lemmy Koopa: Well that didn't work!

Kamek: Master Bowser? Bowser: What? I got Mario's location. Bowser: Where is he now? Kamek: He's in the forest. Bowser: WHAT??? THAT'S TOO CLOSE!!! I'M NOT EVEN DONE YET!!! HOW IS HE THERE??? Kamek: Well, Mario got through the snowland. Bowser: You have to stop him! Now I'm going to reveal my plan, to you. You can't tell anyone. Kamek: ... Are you sure it's going to work? Bowser: Yeah, I just have to ... and lure in Mario. Kamek: I can make it better if you want. Bowser: I have to think about that. Now go stop Mario! Kamek: Yes sir... Kamek flies away.

Luigi, Peach, and Daisy are finding a way out. They reach a door and a pipe. Daisy: Maybe we should split up to cover more ground. Peach: I can't be alone. You both know I'll get caught. Daisy: Okay, so you can come with me. They split up. Luigi takes the pipe, and Daisy takes the door. Peach follows.

5-3-B-p

Luigi finds 2 more pipes, one is red, and one is green. Luigi takes the green one, the red doesn't work. Luigi then finds a blue pipe...

5-3-CD-p

Peach and Daisy find 2 doors. Peach goes to the left and Daisy takes the right. They both open the doors at the same time and 1 door appears in the middle. This one's blue. They find a blue switch...

5-4-CD-c

Peach hits the switch. Peach and Daisy hear a loud noise. Peach: What was that noise? Daisy: I don't know... WAIT!!! Luigi probably got hurt! We have to go save him!

5-4-B-c

The wall of the dead end breaks and it's looks like space with a blue tint. Luigi jumps in the blue pipe and then it disappears. Luigi jumps out of the blue pipe onto a rainbow. The pipe goes back to Bowser's Castle.

5-4-E-c

Kamek: Master Bowser? Bowser: What? Kamek: You heard that noise, right? Bowser: Yeah. But I will do something about it. You need to go to the forest and stop Mario. I'm sending others to find out what's going on. Larry! Roy! Wendy! Lemmy! Morton! Ludwig! Larry Koopa: Yes,Master Bowser? Bowser: What was that noise? Larry Koopa: I don't know. Roy Koopa: Can I go investigate? Wendy O. Koopa: Yeah, I want to go too. Bowser: You all are going. Lemmy Koopa: Yay! It's a scavenger hunt! Morton Koopa Jr.: Or spy work! Ludwig Von Koopa: Actually, it's more like detective work. Bowser: Now go find that noise! Koopalings: Yes sir! The Koopalings fly off. Bowser: Kamek, now go stop Mario! Kamek: Yes sir... Kamek flies off.

Peach and Daisy find a blue pipe. Peach: Luigi must've gone down this pipe. They jump in. Daisy: Wow, were in space! Peach: Look, there's the moon. Daisy: It looks blue here. Peach: But the festival's over. I wonder what's wrong? Daisy: We have to find Luigi before we figure out what's wrong with the moon.

After a bit of walking, Peach and Daisy find Luigi. Peach: Luigi, you're okay! Luigi: Where are we? Daisy: Outer space. Luigi: Probably, did you see the moon? It's always blue here. Daisy: Yeah, Peach and I were just talking about it. Anyways, we have to escape. Ludwig Von Koopa: WHAT??? What are you doing here? Peach, you're supposed to be in your cage! And you, Mario's green friend, you too? What about flowers over here? Daisy: My name is Daisy! Kamek: What are you all doing here? You should be locked up. Larry Koopa: What happened? The rest of the Koopalings show up. Wendy O. Koopa: Wow is this some sort of party? But, where's Iggy? Ludwig Von Koopa: He's dealing with Mario. Wendy O. Koopa: Wait, the green guy isn't Mario? Morton Koopa Jr.: No, he's Luigi. Luigi, Peach, and Daisy get captured again.
