Pokémon Cyndaquil: Yveltal's Curse is a game created by TacoLauncher. It is a spinoff to the Pokémon series, and the first game in the Pokémon Cyndaquil series.
The game is a lot different to normal Pokémon games, however. The gameplay is inspired by Mario + Rabbid's battle gameplay. Like the Mystery Dungeon games, there are no humans, and Pokémon can talk.
The game starts at Shuwu, a huge town where Pokémon live. The town is mostly made up of treehouses. Cyndaquil and his friends, Totodile, Chikorita, and Shinx, are hanging out as they watch the sunset.
While trying to sleep, Cyndaquil hears a strange noise. He spots a strange Pokémon kidnapping Shinx! Cyndaquil confronts the Pokémon, and it reveals itself to be Darkrai, a Pokémon only known in myths. Cyndaquil calls for help, then all of the citizens come outside to find out whats with the noise. Then, Darkrai attacks! Darkrai destroys most of the houses, but is then outnumbered and is forced to retreat, but still has Shinx kidnapped. Darkrai runs away with Shinx in his sack.
Tension rises in the town. The mayor of the town, Venusaur, is getting protests and mobs from the other Pokémon for not taking any action about finding Shinx and stopping Darkrai, so three Pokémon go rogue and go out to find Shinx. Those three Pokémon were Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and Totodile. One of the investigators, Watchog, tells Cyndaquil and his friends that Darkrai ran into the Prickly Plains. The official gameplay begins as Cyndaquil, Totodile, and Chikorita walk into the Plains.
