Princess Morina is a new princess from Sunshine Island and is Princess Daisy's childhood friend. She first appeared being kidnapped by the sea king, Neptune, who wanted to marry her, but she was saved by the Mario Bros. She is very much in love with Alberto, the best friend of the Mario Bros. She dislikes Walberto who picks on Alberto and has a crush on her, which she thinks is gross (despite herself having a crush on Alberto). She is two years younger then Peach and Daisy, making her the youngest princess.
Personality[]
Unlike most princesses, Morina is more of a free spirited, tomboyish, and open minded young lady who has a different view of the world around her and people she knows. She more of a taking risk and facing danger head on type of girl, who defined the role she is born into and because of this, she does not see herself as just another princess or just a girl, but as someone who can developed her own dreams, goals and lifestyle. However, she does have flaws. While she never afraid of jumping into danger, it can get her into trouble at times. She also can be stubborn as she refused to give up or refused to forgive anyone unless otherwise. She shows to have a love for the season of summer and being near or in the water. Since she lives on island where it always summer, it makes her feel more freedom and daydreams that she is a mermaid, enjoying a carefree life. Being around her friends and boyfriend in events such as parties, karts and sports, make her feel like she has even more freedom and can truly be herself, not a stiff royal.
Appearance[]
Morina bears a similar facial appearance to Princess Daisy. She wears a magenta dress, with three layers, that is knee-length. Her hair is long, dark brown, and is worn down, with long braid-like sideburns. She does not wear any makeup and even goes barefoot. She also wears a yellow sun gem on her chest given to her by her mother when she was very young.
Unlike Peach and Daisy, Morina has green eyes. She wears a small crown, even at formal ceremonies, she wears her bronze crown with the same sun gem and green triangle earrings. She also has a deep tan that comes from her being in the sun a lot.
In sports, she wears a similar outfit to those of Peach and Daisy, but her outfit has sleeves on it and she wears a baseball hat instead of her crown. She also ties her hair in a ponytail with a magenta scrunchie.
Game Appearance[]
She makes her appearance in Mario Kart: Wii U as a supporting character alongside Alberto and appear in another kart game, Mario Kart Tour (The fanon one, not the real one) as one of the downloadable characters to be playable, she is a medium size character. Mario World Kart is her third kart game appearance and she is part of Peach's race team.
