Mecha Shadow, alternatively Metal Shadow, is a robotic doppleganger of Shadow, mostly similiar to Metal Sonic. He is capable of using Chaos Control and other Chaos Emerald-based abilities, even without having a Chaos Emerald.

Sonic Speedball RPG[]
In Sonic Speedball RPG, Mecha Shadow is created by Eggman Nega near the end of the game and serves as a final boss. The game reveals that Mecha Shadow was made from melted Star Statues.
Sonic Adventure 3: Shard Search[]
Metal Shadow is the overall main antagonist of this game, being created by Doctor Eggman and initially working for him until he eventually betrays him alongside Metal Sonic. In the game's last story, the two robots fuse and use the power of the Master Emerald to become Hyper Metal Shadic, who serves as the game's final boss.
