LEGO Marvel: The Videogame is a video game for the Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, PS3 and is based on Marvel Comics. It is developed by TT Games and Published by Warner Bros. Games.
Plot
The game features Captain America and his sidekick Bucky fighting their most dangerous foes, who have all broken out of jail and split into three groups to wreak havoc across the city. The story is split into three scenarios, one for each group whose leaders hope to achieve certain goals:
■The Red Skull and his group (consisting of Red Hulk, Zemo , Falcon, Winter Cobra and Red Skull) plan to stage a heist on the cities weapon factory. When versing Winter Cobra instead of bucky it is Spider Man.
■The Doctor Doom and his group (consisting of Pyro, Enchantress, M.O.D.O.K., Abomination and Doctor Doom) plan to hold up the city with Doom bots and to put all super heroes into jail.
■The Kang and his group (consisting of Ultron, Scarlet Witch, Quick Silver, Magneto, Kang) intends to destroy all people in his way and Captain America, bringing them into the future.
In each scenario, the player controls Captain America and Bucky as they fight through hordes of goons and henchmen to reach and defeat each villain, foil their plans, and send them back to jail. After clearing one story, the player is able to play it through the villains' perspective, controlling them and carrying out their individual plans up to before being stopped by Captain America and Bucky.

Gameplay
There are 25 Hostages in the game, one in each non-race level. Once the player finds a hostage, a smile will appear by the level number. A frown means the player has not found the hostage or saved them. In order to do this, the player must find and defeat the thug who is holding the innocent civilian prisoner. After the player has freed all 25 hostages, it is possible to unlock the villain Gambit in gameplay for 150,000 studs.
After 100% completion, it is possible to unlock Vision for 100,000 studs. The last piece of data is also available, which reads 'The End?'
Once you start the game you will be in the helicarrier playing Captaian America and Bucky. There are four different rooms in the helicarrier. The top left is the story mode that leads to 3 different stories and top right is the villain story mode playing the main character and the boss in the level. In the middle will be a computer generator where you can access Buy Character, Boss Hunt, Extra’s, Video’s, Customise character. The bottom left will be a training room testing characters and there powers. The bottom right is where you can view all the artworks and trophies you have unlocked. If you keep going down you can exit and go outside and see all the characters that you have unlocked just walking around (They will attack you if you attack them).
Trophies and paintings
Each level there will be a character trophy and a red power brick, each character trophy you find will be the boss in story mode and the paintings are unseen art that what the game is based on. Each character trophy is hard to find and can only unlock them by free play mode. In villain mode it will just be the good guys. The paintings are collected by collecting the red power brick. After collecting all five minikits in each level a special character will be unlocked to buy.
Buy characters
Each character can be bought by a curtain amount of studs. The only characters you do not buy are Captain America and Bucky. Each character will give parts for your customisation. Each character will have special stats from what they have used in the comics or movies. All characters have 6 or less stats which you can see next to their icons. You can also figure out what capabilities they have. To unlock characters you need to collect enough minikets on the stage.
Boss Hunt
There are 10 different stages with a time limit of 5 minutes. You have to complete the level as fast as you can then after finding the boss he fill bring you to a dimension where you have 2 minutes to beat them. In total it is 7 minutes. During each boss hunt there is a special item called “golden time glass” the golden time glass will double of the remaining time or it can make all studs 3x. It can only be used once a level but changes location each time. After beating the boss you go and buy the character you just had beaten. They will use all there powers and have 10 hearts. Once dead it subtracts off 20 seconds. You can replay over and over again.
Extra’s
Extras are the bonus things that make the game easier but you have to collect enough and then buy them for really high prices.
Character Studs: Character studs is when your attacking an enemy they will leave out studs that you can collect. A character only has 1,000 studs. 300,000 studs and unlocked by buying 5 characters.
Extra Hearts: You will gain 2 extra hearts for 5 hearts in total. This will give you more resistance. 500,000 studs and unlocked by buying 12 characters.
Fast Grapple: When grabbling with grappling hook or flying you will go faster. It will give the grappling hook a wider range. 400,000 studs and unlocked by buying 20 characters.
Faster Shooting: When shooting you will shoot faster and more ammo. When shooting damage is regular (works with lasers aswell). 480,000 studs and unlocked by buying 28 characters
Regenerating hearts: Over time your hearts will regain over time. This will gain health even when hit (does not store health). 750,000 studs and unlocked by buying 39 characters.
Trophy Finder: There will be a radar in the bottom right corner that will glow red the closer you are to the trophy. 1,200,000 studs and unlocked by buying 50 characters.
Score 2x:This will double all of the studs you collect and add onto with all other score x. It will still add up to your total. 1,000,000 studs and unlocked by buying 58 characters.
Score 4x: This will quadriple all of the studs you collect and add onto with all other score x. It will still add up to your total. 1,500,000 studs and unlocked by buying 69 characters.
Score 6x: This will six times all of the studs you collect and add onto with all other score x. It will still add up to your total. 2,000,000 studs and unlocked by buying 75 characters. Score 8x: This will eight times all of the studs you collect and add onto with all other score x. It will still add up to your total. 2,500,000 studs and unlocked by buying 82 characters.
Score 10x: This will ten times all of the studs you collect and add onto with all other score x. It will still add up to your total. 5,000,000 studs and unlocked by having 90 characters.
Stud Magnet: This will make all studs attracted to you and follow you. The stud magnet will also take effect with score 10x, e.t.c. 4,000,000 studs and unlocked by buying all characters besides The Vision.
Video’s
After completing each stage there will be a movie so 6 in total, all movies will go for 2 minutes and can skip it by pressing jump button. You can view movies at the computer and selecting it. After getting all 6 movies there will be an alternate ending but you need all minikits. The final ending is when kang turns all super heroes into a portal which unlocks a new world. You will play any two characters besides Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Bucky, Spiderman, Thor, Loki, Kang, Black Panther, Hawkeye, Yellow Jacket, Vision, Nick Fury, Black Widow, War machine, Odin, Ultron, Wolverine, Ice Man, Daredevil, Human Torch, Storm, Thing, Mr Fantastic, Skrull, customised characters and Invisible Woman.
Customize Character
You will select any character and then your character will have those abilities. You will have a selection of hair, head, body, Legs. Each character you unlock will give you more parts to use. Customised characters can only be used in free play mode. Customised characters will not have good or bad. You can also add a weapon like a gun or arrow and capes/wings.
Training room
You can get help here and it is like a tutorial. It will teach you how to use all different powers. It will also show you where everything is and so on. You have to complete this at the start. You will get a golden trophy of the helicarrier. After completing you will collect 10,000 studs to 5,000 studs to, 3,000 studs, to 1,000 studs to 500 studs. You can train infinite times and you can use any character you select to train.
Level Up
Each character will be able to level up once. Once the character levels up they will become stronger, faster or another stat will grow. Each character can level up to level 3 where both will level up. To level up you need to collect a number of studs. Level 1 characters are normal, Level 2 characters go 1.5x speed and Level 3 characters will double the strength. Level 1 the character needs to collect at least 10,000 studs, Level 2 the character needs to collect 100,000 studs and level 3 the character needs to collect a total of 300,000 studs
Intro Chapter 1
At the start you will play Captain America and Bucky in World War 2, Red Skull has hired some bodyguards and some minions to help him steal weapons for a merged strong weapon. Red Skull will be in every level in the cutscenes escaping besides Stage 1, Level 5. All minions will be soldiers from war. You need to play I level to another in order. After winning the level there is an option called free play where you can collect accessories with different characters. Each boss you beat, you can buy at the computer for a different price. Each boss has special abilities. Level 3 you need to beat Falcon in a race, then after beating him you will battle Falcon in an one on one battle.
Stage 1, Level 1
At the start the bad guys are making plans of splitting up and collecting weapon parts (No Winter Cobra). They split up and Red Hulk comes first. Red Hulk will be throwing crates down from the sky when you play. After going past Red Skull minions you will battle Red Hulk. Red Hulk will be kicking crates and dealing strong damage if contacted. He is a slow character and Bucky needs to walk tight ropes and pull switches to make junk land on Red Hulk.

Stage 1, Level 2
At the start Zemo will be calling other bad guys to tell that he needs a weapon part, but no one will give him any piece. Red Skull walks up telling Zemo he will give him a sword with the power of Captain America’s Shield. He gains it and starts robbing banks and stores. Right before Captain America and Bucky come in. Zemo will be sending enemies waves after waves. After completing the waves there is an explosion in the building where there is only 50 seconds to escape or you restart. After escaping Zemo will appear with his sword ready to battle. Zemo will send minions to back him up.

Stage 1, Level 3
At the start Falcon will be flying around taking hostages for Red Skull and stealing items from tall towers. You will be on a plane fighting waves after waves while one player flies the plane trying to beat Falcon in the race. After winning the race Falcon will come done angry and swooping from the air. After beating Falcon, Bucky will get stuck and blow up. Captain America was falling and Spiderman swings down from the plane and saving Captain America.

Stage 1, Level 4
After Bucky blows up, Red Skull gives Bucky a strong metalic arm and strength. Winter Cobra will swing down a rope droping mines to destroy Spiderman for replacing him. After the level you will battle Winter Cobra who starts rapid firing bullets. Bucky will go through panels where Spiderman can only go through. After beating Winter Cobra an explosion will happening revealing it was Bucky. Captain America invited Bucky to join (players choice Bucky or 100,000 studs and buy Bucky).

Stage 1, Level 5
After all the 4 bosses are beaten Red Skull will call in Hydra members to destroy the trio. The trio will head out looking for a way to get into a large Red Skull Bot. After completing part 1, Red Skull will send 5 waves of enemies on an elevator to Red Skull. Red Skull will charge up a large laser cannon to use. Red Skull will be paralysed after hitting a player. After beaten Red Skull he will push Captain America off the large Red Skull Bot into strong icy water.

Intro Chapter 2
At the start you will play Wolverine and Black Panther in the present time, Doctor Doom has hired some bodyguards and some minions to help him create a world with no super heroes. Doctor Doom will be in every level in the cutscenes escaping besides Stage 2, Level 5. All minions will be doombots or other assassins. You need to play I level to another in order. After winning the level there is an option called free play where you can collect accessories with different characters. Each boss you beat, you can buy at the computer for a different price. Each boss has special abilities. Level 3 you need to beat Quick Silver in a race, then after beating him you will battle Quick Silver in an one on one battle.
Stage 2, Level 1
At the start Pyro will storm out building a huge pyrocinerator to melt antarctica and blaim the Avengers. During the play Pyro will shoot fire balls that will make you take another way to battle him. After the level you will battle Pyro and he will make the glowing red metal to turn on fire. After beating him he will tell you where the next boss is hiding and plotting.

Stage 2, Level 2
At the start Thor will come down challenging you but after beating Thor he will warn you about Enchantress. Out of know where Enchantress teleports and kidnaps Thor. Enchantress will randomly make objects fly and portals appear like a maze. After passing the portals, Enchantress will summon Executioner to attack player 2 or CPU, while P1 battles Enchantress.

Stage 2, Level 3
At the start you will be captured and then Hawkeye shoots an arrow to free the players. Hawkeye was then captured by Doctor Doom. M.O.D.O.K. will appear in his jet then Deadpool sends in his battle copter. You will battle M.O.D.O.K. jet in the air and then after defeating the ship M.O.D.O.K. will fly down growing double your size and invinsible until you destroy the computer that generates the power.

Stage 2, Level 4
At the start you will see Abomination and Doctor Doom. Abomination will charge at the two players and they cannot move. Abomination will throw barrels that will be an instant KO if hit on contact. After beating the level you will have to beat Abomination while he throws exploding barrels that will blow up. If you get to close Abomination will grab you and throw the character to the wall.

Stage 2, Level 5
At the start Doctor Doom comes angry and sends Doom Bots across the city. In the level Doctor Doom will appear and start making dark magic beams to make your partner attack the other partner. After beating the level you will battle Doctor Doom but it is a Doom Bot. After beating the Doom Bot Doctor Doom will appear and start attacking the players. Doctor Doom will flee after losing all health and then goes away. Doctor Doom reveals that the Red Skull from Chapter 1 was a Red Skull Bot. Doctor Doom and Red Skull get ready to battle but Kang comes down and teleports Red Skull and Doctor Doom.

Intro Chapter 3[]
At the start you will play Captain America and Iron Man in the future time, Kang has taken 6 minions to help Kang destroy Captain America including Doctor Doom, Red Skull, Ultron, Scarlet Witch, Quick Silver and Magneto. Kang will be in every level in the cutscenes escaping. All minions will be Sentiels. You need to play I level to another in order. After winning the level there is an option called free play where you can collect accessories with different characters. Each boss you beat, you can buy at the computer for a different price. Each boss has special abilities. Level 3 you need to beat Quick Silver in a race, then after beating him you will battle Quick Silver in an one on one battle.
Stage 3, Level 1
At the start Iron Man will find Captain America in an ice berg but looses all his abilities on that level. Iron Man will free Captain America and then Kang will teleporting to warn them to kill Captain America to save the future but they ignore Kang. Kang sends in Ultron in battle making all metal electrical. Ultron will appear after the level where you need to destroy the main generator.

Stage 3, Level 2
At the start Magneto will tell Scarlet Witch that she will have to follow his evil schemes. Magneto teleports away and tells her for the last time. Scarlet Witch believes him and starts following Kangs orders. Scarlet Witch will block the correct way and make you take the long way. After the level you will battle Scarlet Witch and she will be making boulders come from the ground and destroying the players.

Stage 3, Level 3
At the start Magneto teleports saying that Quicksilver is a failure and banned from his castle. Quicksilver gets angry and starts attacking the players to calm down. You will need to beat Quicksilver in the race while he drops mines to blow you up. After beating him in a race you will battle Quicksilver and you need to stop him from net guns on the wall. Quicksilver is to fast to regulary attack when speeding, another way is to make Quicksilver spin around and make him dizzy.

Stage 3, Level 4
Magneto comes down telling the players that they will never beat him. At the start all metal objects will explode (all objects that are silver) Magneto will appear and will make a strong wind that will not let you pass or shoot. After waiting Magneto will teleport and the wind will stop. After the level Magneto will summon large Sentiel Bots to take you out. Magneto will be attracting metal so you need a way to remove his helmet. Captain America is the only one to hit Magneto and then his helmet will come off.

Stage 3, Level 5
At the start Doctor Doom and Red Skull will start attacking P1 and then after beating them Kang will come and bring them back to life twice. After completing the bosses and the level, Kang will appear and then teleport both players into the future. Intro Chapter 4
At the start you will play Red Skull and the boss from stage 1 in World War 2, SHIELD have sent in SHIELD Agents to stop you to complete your goal. At the end of each level Red Skull will be in the cutscenes but the minion will be sent to jail after the level. You need to play I level to another in order. After winning the level there is an option called free play where you can collect accessories with different characters. While playing the Stage 4, Level 3 will be flying around the city in Falcon.
Stage 4, Level 1
At the start Red Skull and Red Hulk bust into a millitary base with all machines. The level will need to be collected by collecting 3 different machine parts. After collecting all 3 parts, Captain America and Bucky will come and then you will have to battle them. After beating them Nick Fury comes in with the Hulk to take Red Hulk to the SHIELD Jail.

Stage 4, Level 2 At the start Red Skull and Zemo are having a discution about who was the bigger rival to Captain America. Out of the roof Captain America and Bucky break down ready to fight. It was a trap door and they escaped. Captain America tries many ways but meanwhile you play Red Skull and Zemo. You will be looking for 3 different machine pieces. After the level is over Nick Fury, Captain America and Bucky arrive and capture Zemo. Red Skull escapes. 5 Canisters, 1 Hostage, 1 Red Power Brick, 1 Painting, 1 Golden Trophy Stage 4, Level 3 At the start Red Skull and Falcon will be flying around (Red Skull in a plane) you will have to fly around and look for 3 different machine parts, while Captain America and Bucky are in 2 different SHIELD jets. You will need to avoid them and their rockets. After completing the level Nick Fury will appear and take Falcon in. Falcon quickly escapes and flies away. After the level Bucky gets trapped and explodes. 5 Canisters, 1 Red Power Brick, 1 Painting, 1 Golden Trophy
Stage 4, Level 4
At the start Red Skull saves Bucky and changes him into a cyborg like person (Winter Cobra). Winter Cobra walked away but meanwhile Spiderman comes and tags up with Captain America. Winter Cobra promised Red Skull he will help him but will not hurt Captain America. You will be looking for 3 machine parts scattered around the level. After the level ends Winter Cobra reveals his Bucky and tags up with Captain America and Spiderman again.
5 Canisters, 1 Hostage, 1 Red Power Brick, 1 Painting, 1 Golden Trophy Stage 4, Level 5 At the start Red Skull walks around wondering who can help him make the ultra weapon. Falcon comes flying down and telling that he will help once again. During the level you will look for 3 machine parts and asemble the massive machine. Intro Chapter 5
At the start you will play Doctor Doom and the boss from stage 2 in present time, SHIELD have sent in SHIELD Agents to stop you to complete your goal. At the end of each level Doctor Doom will be in the cutscenes but the minion will be sent to jail after the level. You need to play I level to another in order. After winning the level there is an option called free play where you can collect accessories with different characters. While playing the Stage 5, Level 3 will be flying around the city in M.O.D.O.K. plane and Doctor Doom’s Plane.
Stage 5, Level 1
At the start Doctor Doom and Pyro are in Antarctica and made a machine that will melt all the ice and blaime it on the super heroes. The level will need to be collected by collecting 3 different machine parts. After collecting all 3 parts, Doctor Doom and Pyro will come and then you will have to battle them. After beating them Nick Fury comes in to take Pyro to the SHIELD Jail.

Stage 5, Level 2
At the start Doctor Doom will meet Enchantress and promisses that Thor’s power will be drained. Doctor Doom and Enchantress look around the city for 3 machine parts for a magic drainer to take Thor’s powers. At the end of the level the superheroes destroy the magic drainer. Nick Fury comes down from a plane and locks Enchantress in a magic jail.

Stage 5, Level 3
At the start Doctor Doom and M.O.D.O.K. go in planes to look around for black market deals and blaim it on the Superheroes. M.O.D.O.K. and Doctor Doom will fly around for 3 machine parts to trade. After the level M.O.D.O.K. plane blows up and M.O.D.O.K. goes into SHIELD jail. Doctor Doom will fly around and the black market man also goes to SHIELD jail.

Stage 5, Level 4
At the start Doctor Doom looks around for Abomination. After Abomination was found they start looking for 3 machine parts to make a gamma radiation remover. Doctor Doom and Abomination look for the machine parts. After completing the level. Nick Furycomes in with 10 SHIELD agents. Abomination charges and runs away with Doctor Doom.

Stage 5, Level 5
At the start Doctor Doom and Abomination appears and looks for 3 machine parts to make a time machine. During the level SHIELD agents will appear wave after wave. After you complete the level you will create a time machine where Kang appears and destroys the machine. Abomination gets stuck and taken to SHIELD jail. Doctor Doom and Kang teleport and get Red Skull from SHIELD. They leave and go to a special dimension with other members.

Intro Chapter 6
At the start you will play Kang and the boss from stage 3 in future time, SHIELD have sent in SHIELD Agents to stop you to complete your goal. Stage 6, Level 1
At the start Kang and Ultron are in the future and looking for parts to make ultron bots. The level will need to be collected by collecting 3 different machine parts. After collecting all 3 parts, Superheroes will come and then you will have to battle them. After beating them Nick Fury comes in to take Ultron to the SHIELD Jail and take out its circuits.

Stage 6, Level 2
At the start Kang and Scarlet Witch look for 3 machine parts to make a mind reading machine. After collecting all the machine parts Scarlet Witch teleports with Kang and looks for instruction manual. After collecting everything you will battle Captain America. After completing the level a SHIELD agent appears and throws an energy handcuff which blocks Scarlet Witch using her powers.

Stage 6, Level 3
At the start Quicksilver appears helping Kang look for a way to go into the fututre. You play Quicksilver and Kang, SHIELD copters fly around shooting if they see you. Kang will gain thrusters on the chair that flies fast. You will need to collect 3 machine parts to help kang get back into the future. After completing the level the superheroes will appear and trick Quicksilver into the SHIELD jail.

Stage 6, Level 4
At the start Magneto and Kang fly around looking for 3 machine parts to complete the time machine. After collecting the 3 machine parts Captain America will appear and then you need to verse him and win. After completing the level Kang will teleport and steal Magneto’s helmet. Magneto goes to jail in a soft fabric room with no metal.

Stage 6, Level 5
At the start Kang teleports Red Skull and Doctor Doom to help you complete the time travel. After getting the 3 machine parts Captain America will appear and you have to beat him once again. After beating Captain America, you Kang will make a dark void where you play any character and beat ten super heroes (Ironman, Hulk, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Yellow Jacket, Wasp, Black Panther, Wolverine and Spiderman).
