Mario returns yet again to the Super Smash Bros. franchise in Super Smash Bros 5. Mario is still very balanced character who is great for beginners to play as. He aesthetically looks more like he does in recent appearances and overall looks less realistic. His move set is mostly the same with a few small changes.
Changes from Smash 4[]
Mario now has more combos like in melee
Mario's jab combo and tilts now are slightly stronger
Mario's aerials now do more damage but have less launching power
