Like in previous installments, players race against computer controlled opponents, win on each track, and get that cup's throphy. Players can choose one of three standard engine classes: 50cc, 100cc and 150cc. The higher the engine class, the harder and faster the computer racers will drive. Getting first on all 8 cups on all standard engine classes, will unlock Mirror, which is the same as 150cc, except all tracks are mirrored. Getting first on all mirror cups will unlock 200cc.

Unused Content[]
- Unused emblems hidden in the game's files imply that Foreman Spike, a Broozer, and Pom Pom were at one point playable characters, but were scrapped for unknown reasons.
- 3D models of several Cows are found in the game's files, possibly meaning Wii Moo Moo Meadows was at one point a retro track.
