F.L.U.D.D - Can shoot out blasts of water which can either stun opponents, or send you blasting forwards
Pipe - Swaps you with the next opponent up in the rankings, or 2nd if you are in 1st
Super Crown - If any character other than Toadette uses it, they only get 10 coins. When Toadette uses it, she transforms into Peachette for 10 seconds. Peachette gives her a slight speed boost. If Bowser tries to use it, he gets stunned.

- Banana - Dropped on the ground, stops opponents momentarily
- Bob-Bomb - Thrown and when it lands it explodes, stopping opponents
- Boomerang Flower - Thrown at opponents, then comes back. can be used 3 times.
- Bullet Bill - You turn into a Bullet Bill, who speeds through the track, moving you ahead.
- Coin - Gives you a coin.
- Fake Item Box - dropped behind you, and hurts opponents when they run into it. It looks kindof like an actual item box.
- Fire Flower - Allows you to shoot fireballs at opponents.
- Golden Dash Mushroom - lets you dash many times.
- Green Shell - can be thrown at opponents to hurt them.
- Lightning - shrinks all opponents near you.
- Mushroom - lets you have a dash.
- Piranha Plant - attacks opponents, collects coins, and boosts you.
- POW block - use it to stop all opponents around you.
- Red Shell - smae function as the green shell, except it can follow opponents.
- Spiny/Blue Shell - flies in the air and explodes on the player in 1st place.
- Super Horn - same function as the POW block, with longer range.
- Super Leaf - Allows you to jump over opponents and projectiles.
- Super Star - Makes you temporarily invincible.
- Thunder Cloud - Can be transfered to opponents by touching them, zaps them.
