Story[]
Another day of peace has arrived until the apocalypse came again, & it's more chaotic than ever! This war is full of no blood, sweat, & tears so there's no escape for anyone but you (again) who's playing this game.

New Stuff[]
The traditional style of one-on-one fighting returns, with various quality-of-life improvements to freshen the game up. However, more priority was put onto expanding the game's usage of the various media franchises it includes elements from, adding more music, stages, and characters from their worlds into the game. A variety of new game modes were also implemented, including a full story mode.
Characters[]
Last Of The Duels 2 launched with 250 fighters available for play. All 100 veterans from the original Last Of The Duels return, alongside 100 newcomers, not to mention DLC. Out of these 250 fighters, 100 are available by default, while the other 100 can be unlocked, alongside 50 DLC.

- The game was inspired by CrossClash II.
- This is the first game not only on game systems, but on Google too.
- The creator wanted 200 fighters because the game had updates.
- Maya was going to be part of Phoenix's moveset, but she was scrapped due to the MVC3 drama.
- 3 questions marks were placed for 3 characters.
- Those include Zardy from Zardy's Maze, Kiryu Coco from Hololive, & CJ from Starlight Mayhem.
- Later, Blizo from Helluva Boss got one too because his appearance wasn't in this wiki.
- As for pairs, only reason they got in because despite their screentime in the the games/mods of their moveset, they get the roster.
- Boyfriend from Friday Night Funkin, & Roman alongside Neo from RWBY were in the 1st game as sperated fighters.
- This game, however pairs them. While Roman & Neo are paired, Girlfriend was paired with Boyfriend.
- Speaking of paired fighters, Roman & Neo weren't the only RWBY characters (alongside BF & GF from FNF) to be paired, the antagonists Cinder, Emerald, & Mercery were paired too. As well as SNK's Women Fight Team.
- Boyfriend from Friday Night Funkin, & Roman alongside Neo from RWBY were in the 1st game as sperated fighters.

Unselected fighters didn't get the roster because they either has moveset issues, characters being chosen over others, rejected, drama, turned into sprirts, etc.
- Toby Fox Picks
- Most characters don't have a moveset or picked to be in this game, since the creator picking characters from their moveset to be in this series.
- Nintendo Picks
- NES: The creator didn't want too many systems in 1 game.
- Various characters in the Smash series were scrapped because the game doesn't match this game series.
- Wii Party Series: BIG. DAMN. JOKE.
- Retro Mario (Mario Series): The stages got in, but he was scrapped due to the Original Mario being on screen more.
- Sega Picks:
- Classic Sonic (Sonic Series): Faz scrapped him is his CrossClash series, but came as a DLC.
- Various Sakura Wars characters is an easy reason: Files like Sumire, Maria, Kanna, Iris, Wind Diversion, etc weren't in this wiki.
- However, Ichiro, Sakura, Erica, & Ayama got in the last game.
- Schezo (Puyo Puyo): He was going to be planned to put in, but he was scrapped due to him copying moves from the Fire Emblem series.
- Ragnus (Puyo Puyo): Same reason as Schezo.
- Other reasons why most Sega characters didn't get the chance is on the top of this section, being the top of "Scrapped Fighters".
- Capcom Picks
- Tron (Mega Man Legends): She was gonna be picked due to her moveset, but scrapped since no one remembers Mega Man Legends anymore.
- X (Mega Man X): The original was picked to remain in game.
- Most Street Fighter characters were cut due to the game keeping it T rating.
- The same reason applies to Darkstalkers.
- Unlike the Resident Evil cast in this game, there's too much blood & gore in that series, which is why most characters were scrapped.
- Monster Hunter from the same name was scrapped too, because the creator of this game HATES the Monster Hunter series.
- Ace Attorney is simple, they can't fight.
- Despite Phoenix Wright learning to do so in MVC3 & the Project X Zone series, he got in the 1st game & returned with his ancestor in this game.
