Gray Hulk		When The Hulk debuted in 1962, he was originally gray. In the debut, Stan Lee chose gray for the Hulk because he wanted a color that did not suggest any particular ethnic group. Colorist Stan Goldberg, however, had problems with the gray coloring, resulting in different shades of gray, and even green, in the issue. After seeing the first published issue, Lee chose to change the skin color to green. Green was used in retellings of the origin, with even reprints of the original story being recolored for the next two decades, until The Incredible Hulk vol. 2, #302 (December 1984) reintroduced the gray Hulk in flashbacks set close to the origin story. Since then, reprints of the first issue have displayed the original gray coloring, with the fictional canon specifying that the Hulk's skin had initially been gray.
The Abomination		Formerly known as Emil Blonsky, the Abomination gained his powers after receiving a dose of gamma radiation similar to that which transformed Bruce Banner into the Incredible Hulk. As a result he was transformed into a massive green-skinned monster whose physical power was equivalent to, if not greater than, that of the Hulk.
The Thing		The Thing is a member of the Fantastic Four, alongside Mr. Fantasic, The Invisible Woman, and The Human Torch. His trademark orange rocky appearance, sense of humor, blue eyes, and his famous battle cry, "It's clobberin' time!" makes him one of the most recognizable and popular comic book characters. The Thing's speech patterns are loosely based on those of Jimmy Durante.
Ravage		Dr. Gregory Crawford was a physics professor at Desert State University who took undergraduate Bruce Banner under his wing and became his mentor. Years later, Banner went to his teacher for aid in finding a cure for the Hulk. At this time Crawford was a sick man, but he was nevertheless able to create a machine that could be used to filter the gamma radiation from Bruce's body. Crawford also saw this as a way to cure himself; by obtaining some of the Hulk's DNA, he knew he would be able to use the Hulk's recuperative powers on himself. First Crawford reconfigured his own DNA so that it was a match with Banner's. This turned him into a stronger beast than the Hulk: the monster called Ravage.
Juggernaut		When Cain Marko found the Gem of the mystical entity Cyttorak, he was empowered with magical energies and transformed into an immortal avatar for the entity in question. As the Juggernaut, Marko possesses superhuman strength, being capable of shattering mountains, lifting and using buildings as weapons, and extreme durability. He has no role in the game's story, and is only a secret character.
HulkBuster Iron Man		This is the only Iron Man armor that can't fly. However, it is capable of jumping to great heights and has superhuman strength. It was created by Tony Stark.
Hulk 2003		This is the Ang Lee version of The Hulk. They may look similar, but they are much different in reality. For example, 2003 Hulk is 5 feet bigger than regular Hulk, and he is stronger.
She-Hulk		Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner (Hulk), is the small and somewhat shy daughter of Los Angeles County Sheriff William Morris Walters and Elaine Walters. Operatives of Nicholas Trask, a crime boss who had crossed paths with her father, shot and seriously wounded her on a day that Bruce Banner happened to be in town for a visit. Since no other donors with her blood type were available, Banner provided his own blood for a transfusion; as they already shared the same blood type and DNA, his radioactive blood, combined with her anger transformed Jennifer into the green-skinned She-Hulk when the mobsters tried to finish her off at the hospital.
Wreck-it Ralph		I know, it's weird to have Wreck-it Ralph as a playable character in an Incredible Hulk game, but hey, Disney owns Marvel, so it's alright.
