Mario Kart 8/Story Mode

Mario Kart 8 Story Mode is a new mode that appears in the game. It's similar to Super Mario Bros. You have to pass the 8 Worlds. The story is about Mario who loses the Golden Special Cup that was stolen by Cosmic Bowser. You will be able to play with any character but you can only change after a Fortress Circuit or a Castle Circuit.

World 1

World 1-1

The circuit is Mario Circuit of Mario Kart 7. You have to race against 2 Shadow Koopas and 5 Goombas. You will be able to use only Fire Flowers, Mushrooms, Shells and sometimes a Star.

World 1-2

The circuit is Piranha Slider of Mario Kart 7. The race is against 7 Buzzy Beetles. There will be only 2 laps. The items that you can take will be Mushrooms, Fire Flowers, Ice Flowers, Shells, Stars and your Special Item.

World 1-

Toadsworth will appear to give you an item which you can use when you want. The item can be a Bullet Bill, Golden Mushroom, Giant Mushroom or Super Leaf.

World 1-3

The circuit is Mario Circuit of Mario Kart 8. The race is against 5 Shadow Koopas. There will have 5 laps and you will be able to use a Fire Flower, a Super Leaf, a Mushroom or Red Shells. There are a secret zone where you will be able to go to Warp Zone-1.

World 1-

The Warp Pipe will drive you to World 4.

World 1-4

The circuit will be Mushroom Gorge of Mario Kart Wii. The race is against 3 Shadow Koopas and 3 Giant Goombas. There will be 4 laps and you can use your special item, Propeller Mushrooms, Shells and Goomba's Shoes.

World 1-

The circuit is Bowser Jr. Fortress of Mario Kart 8. The race is against 8 Shadow Dry Bones. There will 2 laps. If you win you will have to race against Cosmic Luigi. The race against him will have 3 laps. The items that you can use are Shells, Ice Flowers, Stars, Mushrooms, Thunderbolts and Thwomps.

World 1-5

The circuit is "Cloudy Plains": it's a circuit made on Clouds and Jumping Mushrooms. It can be seen a lot of Paratroopas. The race is against 3 Shadow Koopas and 5 Paragoombas. The race has only a lap because it's lineal. The items that you can use are Shells, Fake Boxes, Stars, Fire Flowers and Propeller Mushrooms.

World 1-

The circuit is "Bowser Valley": It's a circuit near a Tower of a Fortress where there are a lot of Whomps and Thwomps. Your rivals are 5 Venus Fire Trap, 2 Shadow Dry Bones and Crash Crash. The circuit has 5 laps and you can use any Item.

World 2

World 2 is based on a desert world like World 2 of New Super Mario Bros.

World 2-1

The circuit is Kalimari Desert of Mario Kart 64. The track is full of Cactus and there are two trains. Your rivals are 4 Pokeys and 2 Shadow Boomerang Bros.. The circuit was 3 laps and you can only use Goombas, Fire Flowers, Super Leafs, Shells and Fake Item Boxes.

World 2-2

The circuit is Dry Dry Desert of Mario Kart Double Dash!! The track has 2 laps only and you won't be able to surround the quicksand. You have to jump from a ramp and use the glider. Your opponents are 10 Pokeys. You can use any item except Mushrooms, Stars and Bullet Bills.

World 2-

Toadsworth will give you an item that you can choose. It can be a Golden Mushroom, your Special Item or a Bullet Bill.

World 2-

The circuit is Bowser Neo-City of Mario Kart 7. The track has a lot of Dry Bones' Shells and it's mirror mode. The circuit has only a lap and your rivals are 3 Shadow Hammer Bros. and 4 Shadow Dry Bones. You can only use Shells and Bob-Ombs. Then, you have to race against Cosmic Peach.

World 2-3

The circuit is Moonview Highway from Mario Kart 8. There are 3 laps and the rivals will be 7 Shadow Hammer Bros. You can use: Bob-ombs, Shells, Mushrooms, Stars and Bananas.

World 2-4

The circuit is Dry Dry Desert of Mario Kart Double Dash!!. There are 2 laps in Mirror Mode. The other racers will be 11 Spinies. You can use Mushrooms, Bananas, Fake Item Boxes, Stars and your special item.

World 2-5

The circuit is "Dry Dry Pyramids", a circuit into a pyramid full of traps and Goomba Mummies. There is only a lap because it's a lineal city. The racers will be 8 Spinies and 3 Shadow Paratroopas. The items that you can use will be Red Spiny Shells, Mushrooms, Bananas and P-Wings.

World 2-

The circuit is Inferna Castle of Mario Kart 8/Shopping Circuits. There are 3 laps against 7 Tail-Goombas and 4 Wallops (from Super Mario 3D Land). Then you have to fight against Run Run (other 3 laps). You can use all the items except Goombas.

World 3

This world is based on Super Mario Bros. 2: There will be some circuits like Subcon City, Shy Guy Carnival and more...

World 3-1

The circuit is Shy Guy Forest of Mario Kart 8. There will be 3 laps and your rivals will be 7 Shy Guys. You will be able to use Bananas, Bob-ombs, Red Shells, Stars and POW Blocks. Shy Guys will be of different colours like Mario Kart DS.

World 3-

Toadsworth will propose you a card game like Super Mario Bros. 3 or New Super Mario Bros Wii (Power-up Panels). You will be able to take a Fire Flower, an Ice Flower, a Mushroom, a Star, a Bullet Bill, a Red Shell and a Super Leaf.

World 3-2

The circuit is Ribbon Road of Mario Kart: Super Circuit. There will be 5 laps and your rivals will be 3 Fly Guys and 4 Shy Guys. The items you will be able to use are Bananas, Red Shells, Mushrooms, POW Blocks, Bob-ombs and Stars. Shy Guys and Fly Guys will be of different colours like Mario Kart DS.

World 3-

The circuit is Airship Fortress of Mario Kart DS. There will have 3 laps and your rivals will be 11 Monty Moles. When you win the race, you have to compete against Cosmic Wario. The items you will use are Bananas, Shells, Stars, Mushrooms, Bob-ombs and Bullet Bills.

World 3-3

The circuit is Subcon City of Mario Kart 8. There will have 4 laps and your rivals will be 3 Shadow Birdos and 5 red Shy Guys. The items that can be use will be Bananas, Shells, Stars, Bob-ombs and Mushrooms.

World 3-

The circuit is Boo Lake from Mario Kart: Super Circuit. The circuit is full of Spiny Shells and they explodes when you touch them. The race will have 3 laps and your rivals will be 5 Dark Boos. The items that you can use will be Mushrooms, Fire Flowers, P-Wings (rarely) and Stars.

World 3-4

The circuit is Shy Guy Beach from Mario Kart: Super Circuit. The circuit has a lot of parasols and cannon balls and they explode when you touch them. The circuit has only a lap and your rivals will be 11 Pirate Goombas that can use cannon balls. You will be able to use all the items except Mushrooms.

World 3-

The circuit is Wart Castle. This circuit is a castle full of sand and Shy Guys flying with carpets. The circuit has only a lap and you have to run against 11 Dark Birdos. Then you have to run against Shadow Wario in other lap. You can use any item.

World 4

This world is based of Super Mario Sunshine, with circuits based of circuits near the beach, the coast or Mediterranean-like cities. Some of the circuits are Delfino Plaza, Delfino Falls, and Peach Beach...

World 4-1

The circuit is Peach Beach from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. You will have to run against 5 Electroopas. This race will have 4 laps. The circuit is full of Crabs and Cataquacks, and the home stretch has several Bullet Bills going against you, there are also some Missile Bill who will chase you. Finally, when you arrive to the finish line a Banzai Bill will cross the route. You can use Mushrooms, Red Shells, Green Shells, Bob-ombs and Bananas.

World 4-2

The circuit is Delfino Falls, from Mario Kart 8. You will have to run against 7 Electroopas in a race of 3 laps. The circuit has lots of Piranha Plants and there will have a Piranha Generator in the last plaza of the circuit. You will be able to use Mushrooms, Red Shells, Green Shells, Bob-ombs and Bananas.

World 4-

In this Toad's House, you can take some items like Mega Mushroom, Golden Mushroom, 3 Mushrooms or a Propeller Mushroom.

World 4-

&nbsp This Warp Pipe will drive you to the World 1.

World 4-3

The circuit of this world is Delfino Volcano. This circuit goes around the volcano of Delfino Island. The rivals will be 9 Electroopas. The race will have just one lap because it is a lineal track. The items that the player can use are Bullet Bills, Shells, Bob-Ombs and Mushrooms.

World 4-

The circuit is Bowser Jr. Hotel. This hotel is full of traps, enemies and its a lineal route, you will have to use lifts and stairs. The racers will be 11 Electroopas. When you arrive to the Checkpoint, you will find Doom Doom who will be the boss of this circuit. All the items that you will be able to get are, Mushrooms, Shells, Bullet Bills, Stars, Bananas and Bob-Ombs.

World 4-4

The circuit in this case will be Delfino Plaza, from Mario Kart DS. This time you will run against 7 Dark Piantas. But this circuit will change a bit: you can't go across the first stone bridge, so you must jump the shortcut. You can use any of these items: Stars, Bananas, Shells, Bob-Ombs and Mushrooms. In the coast line, you may find some Bullet Bills against you.

World 4-5

The circuit is other Delfino Plaza, in this case , in Mario Kart 8. This race will be run against 11 Dark Piantas. This circuit has some Goombas in the road that can make you obstacle. There will be also some Piranha Generator. You will be able to use items like Stars, Bob-Ombs, Shells, Mushrooms and Bananas.

World 4-

The Circuit is "Dry Bowser Coast": it's a circuit near a destroyed beach, full of Dry Bones and very dark. This time, you have to run against 11 Ink Piranha Plants. After 3 laps, you will run against Cosmic Yoshi, other lap. You will be able to use any item except Bullet Bills and special items.

World 5

This world is based off ice places, like icebergs and mountains, namely, polar stages and frozen places.

World 5-1

This world will be the circuit of Sherbet Land, from Mario Kart 8. In this quest, you will run against 7 Ice Bros.. There will be Cooligans slipping over the ice and they will try to attack you when you arrive to the finish line. The race will be of 3 laps and the player will be able to use several items, like Banana, Mushroom, Green Shell, Red Shell and Star.

World 5-2

This world will be run in the circuit of Vanilla Lake of Super Kario Kart. In this race, you have to run against 4 Penguins and 7 Ice Bros.. Some Cooligans will attack you in the last part of the circuit. The race will be of four laps and the player will be able to use items like Shells, Banana, Mushroom and Star.
