Eldin Volcano is a major location featured in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and is a large part of the Eldin Province. Eldin Volcano has the Fire Temple which is deep beneath the Volcano and the Fire Sanctuary which is located in the Volcano Summit, the temple and dungeon are where Scaldera and Ghirahim's second round were fought at. Eldin Volcano is also the area where Link learns part of the Song of the Hero.

Eldin Volcano features an active volcano on the middle that contists of lava and magma. Eldin Volcano has hot weather and air as well, the area is too seen with large rocks, trees, and mountains. Ancient Ruins remain at Eldin Volcano which are the Fire Temple and Fire Sanctuary. The treasure-hunting species known as Mogma live at Eldin Volcano as they helped Link on his adventure and gave him the Mogma-Mitts which helps Link dig underground. Eldin Volcano is infested with Bokoblins, but can be cleared out with the use of the Mogma-Mitts.
