Fire is a Copy Ability that Kirby can use in the Kirby series, which debuted in Kirby's Adventure. As the name suggests, this ability allows Kirby to use fire attacks, most notably breathing streams of fire out of his mouth. Since its debut, it has appeared in nearly every Kirby game and has been one of the most recurring abilities.
Description[]
Fire Kirby wears a golden crown with a green jewel in the center, and flames constantly erupting from the top. In some games, Kirby's body will also change color from pink to red to further distinct himself from other abilities.
Fire Kirby can use a wide assortment of fire-based attacks, the most basic of which involves him breathing streams of short-range fireballs from his mouth that can damage and burn enemies. While the range is short, the damage can pile up quickly. Other attacks include creating a protective barrier of flames around himself, rolling across the ground while on fire, and launching himself in a straight line as a fireball (which was previously used in its own Copy Ability in Kirby's Adventure and Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land before being merged with Fire in subsequent titles). Additionally, Fire also provides utility, such as being able to light up fuses to launch out of cannons, burning tall grass, lighting up dark areas, and providing allies with the Sizzle Super Effect.
In Kirby's Return to Dream Land, there's a Super Ability based on Fire Kirby, known as Monster Flame. The Robobot Armor also has a Fire Mode based on this ability in Kirby: Planet Robobot. In Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Fire can be upgraded at Waddle Dee's Weapons Shop with Blueprints. The first upgrade is Volcano Fire, which changes the hat to resemble a volcano oozing lava, and allows Kirby to spit fiery rocks, which travel farther and deal more damage than the standard Fire's fireballs. It can be further upgraded to Dragon Fire, which makes Kirby's hat a large dragon claw with purple fire coming out. It allows Kirby to glide through the air whenever he uses the fireball attack with fiery dragon wings, as well as make his fire attacks purple and more damaging.

Super Mario Maker Lunar[]
The Fire ability can be attained by Kirby in Super Mario Maker Lunar if he inhales a Fire Flower, Fire Bro., Lava Bubble, Splorch, or Hot Lips. In the Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, and Super Mario Bros. 3 styles, Kirby can only use the standard fire breath attack, similar to Kirby's Adventure. However, he gains the rest of his moves in the other game styles.
