Mario Kart Mega Circuit (also know as MKMC, in japan マリオカートメガサーキット) is a game for the SamStation and Wii. Just like Mario Kart 7, it's possible to drive on the ground, in the air and underwater. It's even possible collect coins, used to unlock characters and karts. This game uses the Wi-Fi Connection.

Gameplay

The gameplay is a mix of Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 7. The game has the same control of Mario Kart Wii and is it possible to drive in air and underwater like Mario Kart 7.

Grand Prix

• 50cc: Slow motor, weak CPU.
• 100cc: normal motor, normal CPU. For unlock it get all the Golden Trophies in 50cc.
• 150cc: fast motor, hard CPU. For unlock it get all the Golden Trophies in 100cc.
• Mirror: fast motor, hard CPU. All the tracks are all seen in mirrow. For unlock it get all the Golden Trophies in 150cc.

Time Trial

Set your best record and beat the ghosts by racing alone in a choosed track. You have three Super Mushroom that will help you by giving you three short speed boosts. 

Battles

Run for Coins

Team Mode

The players are divided into 2 teams with 4 pilots in each time (In the Wi-Fi plays there may be up to 12 players). The team that collects the most coins scattered on the course before the end of the 3 minutes available. Each player, finding an item in an Item Box, you can try to hit an opponent causing him to lose his coins that can be collected by anyone.

All-Against-All

In the All-Against-All mode, there are four players (in the Wi-Fi games up to 8 players), each player plays for himself and must try to collect the highest possible number of coins scattered in the path. Each player, finding an item in an Item Box, you can try to hit an opponent causing him to lose his coins that can be collected by anyone. The winner of the minigame is who collect the highest number of coins before the end of the 3 minutes avaible.

Shine Sprite Battle

In the Shine Spirte Battle there are four players (in the Wi-Fi games up to 8 players) that plays for himself The battle lasts two minutes, in these two minutes, players must find the Shine Sprite which is located in any point of the path. When a player finds a Shine Sprite, will have to run away from the other players try to hit him with Deglio item to make him lose the Shine Sprite that will give the ground and can be picked up by anyone. The winner of the battle and the player at the end of the two minutes has the Shine Sprite, if at the expiration of the time no one has the Shine Spirte, you will make the play-off.

In the playoff, the first player to find the Shine Sprite that is found at any location in the path wins the battle.

Balloon Battle

All-Against-All mode

In this mode there are 8 players (up to 12 matches in Wi-Fi) that everyone plays for himself. Each player starts the game with three balloons. Each player must try to hit their opponents with each item to make him lose a balloon and earn a point. If a player loses all three balloons available, it will lose a point on the total of those earned. The player at the end of three minutes with the most points, wins the battle.

Team Mode

Bob-omb Attack battle

In this battle there are 4 players (up to 8 Wi-Fi in games) playing for themselves. Each player must hit with the Bob-ombs other players, whenever a player hits a Bob-omb an opponent, gain a point, while the one who was hit loses one and vice versa. The first one is able to gain 5 points, wins the round.

2.	Car Dodge	Arrive to the goal in less time possible while trying not to get hit by the cars it the traffic of Mushroom Bridge. Each time you get hit by a car, the timer will add three seconds to the overall time of the race Time: finish the race in less time possible	none	50 coins
3.	Volcano Madness	Race a solo two-laps long course, while dodging all the firey boulders thrown by the volcano at the center of Wii Grumble Volcano. If you get hit 5 times by a boulder, you'll lose the mission. Time: unlimited time.	none	70 coins
4.	Ghost Quest	Complete two laps on Hauntend Woods while killing Boos and other ghosts with the items. At the end of the laps, you must defeat King Boo by throwing bombs a him, but watch out! Keep an eye on King Boo: dodge the items that he'll throw to you, if you get hit by a item 10 times you will lose the mission.  Time: 55 seconds (only the battle with King Boo)	King Boo	1 coin each killed Boo. 130 coins, win the mission

3.	City Neo Bowser	Win a two lap race on 3DS Neo City backwards. Time: Unlimited time	None	60 coins
4.	Desert Peril	The Desert Oasi is invaded by Thwomps and  Pokeys. Kill the 10 Pokeys with any item, but watch out! You have a life bar with 5 notches, if you get hit by a Thwomp, you lose a notch. Time: 1:10 seconds	Pokey and Thwomp	300 coins

2.	Bob-ombardament	What are they? A horde of Wiggler on the GBA Luigi Circuit. Luigi must vacate his runway before the next race starts. Bombards five Wigglers with Bob-ombs before the time runs out. Each Wiggler, to be destroyed, needs to be hit by 5 Bob-ombs. Time: 2:15	None	100 coins.
3.	Double Race	You are Waluigi. You must win two races made by two laps on the two Waluigi Pinball tracks. Time: Unlimited time	None	50 coins
4.	Damn Plumber	You play as Bowser: arrive at the finish of Bowser Castle before King Koopa's nemesis: Mario. Time: unlimited	Mario	300 coins

1.	Fury Time Trial	Hurry up! Hit the accelerator and go. The goal of this mission is to race 2 laps on the Toad Station. You start the race with 30 available seconds and you have to make sure that the time doesn't run out by passing inbetween the arches placed on the road. Every arch will add to the timer three (or rarely 5) more seconds. Attention, do not pass between the red arches, they will make you lose 3 seconds. Time: You start the race with 30 seconds.	none	100 coins
2.	Battle with Bowser	You play the mission as Mario. The Peach Castle has been invaded by Bowser. You mission is to win the Baloon Battle against Bowser. Time: the battle ends after three minutes.	Bowser	100 coins
3.	Wimp Whimps	Destroying a Whimp is easy, but try to destroy a whole horde of them. You must clear the road of Wario Woods from the Whimps. To destroy one Whimp all you have to do is to overwhelm it with your kart. Destroy 250 Whimps before the time will runs out. Time: 2:20	the Whimps	200 coins
4.	Comet Check	You play as Rosalina. Rosalina must continually check every angle of her observatory. Your job is to race 3 laps on the Comet Observatory speedtrack in backward before the time will runs out. Time: 2:45	None	20 coins

1.	Bowsy, I'm your father	Also the mean King Koopa has a heart: this is the first race of his son Bowser Jr. and Bowser want to let him win. You play as Bowser and you have to make sure that Bowser Jr. will arrives first at the finish. It seems easy, but is it not: Bowser Jr. is really a duffer behind the wheel, but you, for complete the mission, you have to be even worse. Time: unlimited	Bowser Jr	90 coins
2.	Wario Time!	Waluigi Always praise himself, but now Wario has to show him who's the best and beat him in a race on  Wii Wario's Golden Mine. Time: unlimited	Waluigi	70 coins
3.	Elimination Race	Each 15 seconds, the racer who's in the last position will be eliminated, your goal is to never being eliminated. So remain the only "survivor" of 8 racers on the Yoshi Island. Time: each 15 seconds, the racer who's in the last position will be eliminated.	None	110 coins
4.	The Fast and the Furry	You can choose if play with Diddy Kong or Donkey Kong. You start the race in the DK Jungle with 15 seconds, but the time continue to decrease. Complete one lap and try to not lose all the seconds avaible. For add more seconds, go throug the green gates that will give you 2, 5 or 10 seconds more. But watch out, there are also red gates that will make you lose seconds. Time: you start with 15 seconds avaible. Go throug the gates for add more seconds.	None	60 coins

1.	S.O.S Luma	Bowser have kidnaped 5 Lumas and now he's running around the Rainbow Road for complete his dirty plan undisturbed. You play as Rosalina and you have to release the Lumas trapped in Bowser's kart by hitting King Koopa's kart with various items. Time: 65 seconds.	Bowser	40 coins

3.	Gold Rush	The miser Wario had finaly found the gold on his mine: Wii Wario Gold Mine. Collect as many gold nugget disperse throughout the circuit as you can. Time: 70 seconds.	None	Every gold nugget earned value 3 coins.
4.	Petey Piranha's Meal	Crash through a special Item Box that contains fruits. Launch the fruits to Petey Piranha in a random battle course. Somethimes, Petey will close his mouth, and you'll can't launch the food in that moment. Watch out: sometimes, Petey spits mud on the floor, if you skid on the mud with an item, you will lose it. Give to Petey Piranha 20 fruits, first that the time runs out. Time: 1:30 minute	Petey Piranha	150 coins

3.	Bazaar Fest	Collect the highest numbers of jowels scattered throughout the 3DS Shy Guy Bazaar. Time: 1 minute	None	30 coins
4.	Dodge Space Race	Complete the time trial in less of one minute in a 1 lap race in the Comet Observatory. Dodge the Asteroid Bits that are falling from the sky, do not touch them or you will loose speed. Time: 1 minute	None	120 coins

Items that can be can used on the ground, up in the sky and underwater

	Time Bomb	When the driver get this item, a bomb will appear above the kart with a countdown starting from 10. The driver with the bomb must hit another pilot to pass the bomb. When the countdown is finish, the player who has the bomb will going to blow up.	Semi rare
	Pow Block	A POW block appears on screen and causes any racer on the ground to spin out and drop their items. Players who deploy the wheelie button get a milder version of the effect.	Un common
	Blooper	Squirts ink on any racer ahead of the user, partially obscuring vision. It eventually wears off, but can be immediately removed by a speed boost from a mushroom or boost tile, etc.	Semi common
	Mega Mushroom	The driver grows bigger and drives faster for a short time, which allows the driver to squash other racers by running over them. The Mega Mushroom is immune to all attacks except those from the Star, the Lightning Bolt, the Blooper's ink and the Bullet Bill.	Semi common
