The game will center around the player, who will play as their Mii, attempting to collect badges, enabling him to level up. When all the badges are collected, the player will face the final boss. The story mainly centers around a team called the "Badge Spammers", who perform stupid and unnecessary tasks to earn badges. The goal of the game is to vanquish them, a little like Pokémon.
Badges are found by exploring the main area of the game, which is an Earth-like world taking place in a rural, mountainous, and coastal area. Each badge has specific traits that increase the player's capabilities, whether it be health, strength, weapons, etc. Some are simply for the sake of collecting, as every badge needs to be found (and should be found if the game is played correctly.
