Story[]
Taking place at Station Square, Amy Rose has gotten bored and misses the days that she had with Sonic, but Amy Rose then realizes that a strange event is taking place! A strange person under the name "Batman" has defamed Sonic and is now causing chaos in an unknown location. She finds a poster on one of the shops, it reads:
"Kyrby"
"tthe vidd-yo game"
"its about batman except batman is a bad guy and also penguin is the only other batman character and he is also a bad guy except he is sometimes the good guy and sometimes batman is also a good guy and also the main character is a pink circle and that's it."
"from somebody"
It turns it was actually put on reverse, yet someone made a Kirby essay on the back of the actual poster once Amy found out. the actual poster reads:
"HELP!"
"Amy Rose, If you're reading this, I found out that Cream has been waiting for you at Green Hill Zone! as well as Rouge and Blaze, but either way, I have nothing to say as well."
"Oh no..."
"SOMEODY HAS AN AIR PUMP AND IS LEANING CLOSER TO ME! WAIT A SEC, HE HAS AIRPODS IN!"
Amy Rose heads to Green Hill Zone, and finds Chip inflated, with the Air Pump's hose still inside Chip's mouth. Cream, Rouge and Blaze tell Amy that they we're waiting, After a brief scene where Chip tries to unplug his mouth from the hose in order to return to his original size, Chip explains that Dr. Eggman is not guilty of what happened, and that "Batman" has teleported to a different era. and so begins the Sonigirls' journey through time as they head to the year 1991.
By the time they complete all three Green Hill Zone stages, they head over to Short Circuit, and Chip explains that "Batman" was last spotted there. Cream mentions that Marine has been dilly-dayling when she disappeared. and Chip recalls that Marine wasn't in Short Ciruit to begin with. However, Eggman returns after a while and reminds the girls that they arrived at the wrong time period and that they'll have to fight.
Afterwards, Chip realizes that they should transport themselves to the year 1992. as that's were Sonic and Tails first met. once they reach Casino Night Zone, they find Sonic, but also Mario, who was captured by "Batman" who was holding a metal can, Amy persuades them to stop just before the boss battle, after that, Chip transports Amy and the rest of the Sonigirls to the year 1985 as an attempt to escape. "Batman" turns out to be Carl Wheezer, who crunches the can. causing a nuclear explosion and destroying Casino Night Zone.
It turns out that Chip transported the Sonigirls to the Mushroom Kingdom, and Bowser has just turned all the Toads into bricks, and after an intense fight, Bowser just leaves... with a P-Balloon on his hand! Amy realizes that Bowser also has Princess Peach in her hands. so everyone heads straight to Bowser's Castle. where Bowser tosses P-Balloons at Amy, Cream, Rouge and Blaze, with different effects.
Charmy notices and realizes that with everyone stuck, they can't defeat Bowser, so he defeats Bowser and saves Princess Peach from another castle since the Bowser in the first castle was fake.
Amy, Cream, Rouge, Blaze and Charmy fall asleep.
Gameplay[]
Unlike normal Sonic games, which are speed-based platformers, this one is a Mario-esque platformer with Sonic characters.
Much like Super Mario 3D World, the game supports up to four-player simultaneous multiplayer, allowing players to control as any of the playable characters. additional players can drop in at any time by pressing. and can drop out by pausing and pressing (-) on the pause menu, similar to New Super Mario Bros. Wii and New Super Mario Bros. U; in this game, however, players can also switch characters before entering a stage, also like Super Mario 3D World.
Each character has different abilities, similar to Super Mario Bros. 2.
The multiplayer is more team-based than before. each character has a health bar and will faint if the health bar is empty. A character that has fainted can only recover if another character nearby and recovers the one that fainted, similar to Team Kirby Clash Deluxe.
If one character reaches the goal, the other characters have to do so.
The camera will only focus on the first player, anyone who exits the camera's boundaries will immediately teleport back if they go too far, yet again like Super Mario 3D World.

Amy Rose |
Available from the start |
Hammer Whack Smashes foes and blocks with her trusty golden hammer, nothing too special here... |
Amy is a cheerful, though slightly erratic girl, with a positive attitude and boundless energy. However, she has a scary temper and her infatuation with Sonic makes her shortsighted and a bit obsessive about him, having followed him everywhere since meeting him. Nevertheless, she has a pure heart and will not let anything stop her. (from Sonic News Network) | Cindy Robinson |
Cutscenes: |
Cream the Rabbit |
Available from the start |
TBA Jumps are higher and falls are slower thanks to her big ears. meant for beginners. |
Cream is very polite, well-mannered and pure, though she can be childish and naïve. She is full of curiosity and tries her best in everything she does. Though young, she is not afraid to stand up for herself and will always be there to help out her friends. Just as Tails is the sidekick of Sonic, Cream serves the same purpose for Amy Rose and Blaze the Cat. (from Sonic News Network) | Michelle Ruff |
Cutscenes: |
Rouge the Bat |
Available from the start. |
Smash Bros. She's not a fan of superpowers (aside from flying) and would resort to the combat used for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. |
Rouge is in short, an enigma, as her motivations are always in question. In truth, she is usually just out for herself. She is smart, sassy and seductive, and knows how to get what she wants. Once she has a target in mind, she always goes for it, regardless of the costs. Beneath her ditsy exterior though, she is a calculating realist and her motives are always mercenary in nature. Regardless, she is loyal to her closest friends and has more than once helped Sonic the Hedgehog and his allies save the world. (from Sonic News Network) | Karen Strassman |
Cutscenes: |
Blaze the Cat |
Available from the start. |
Fire Laser Fires a blast of fire in front of her. This can only be done once in a stage. |
Blaze is normally calm and elegant, but tends to conceal her true feelings. Devoted to her position, she sometimes gets herself bogged down by her own strict discipline, which made her anti-social, shy, and unfamiliar to the concept of having friends. After spending time with Sonic and Cream, however, Blaze has discovered the true meaning of friendship, allowing her to accomplish tasks for the good of her people and the innocent which she could never do alone. Despite the initial boundaries separating them, Blaze now travels freely between her dimension and Sonic's to visit her friends.[4] (from Sonic News Network) | Laura Bailey |
Cutscenes: |
Marine the Raccoon |
Complete stage 6-5: Koopaling Crossing |
Dive, Surf and F.L.U.D.D. The dive, her surfboard, and the F.L.U.D.D. from Super Mario Sunshine, all in one big move! |
Always energetic, Marine is talkative, but rarely listens. A spunky yet lovable rascal,[3] she is a lover of excitement and constantly seeks adventures. She aspires to become the captain of her own ship so she can travel the world, but can be quite the handful. During her adventures with Sonic though, she has matured and has promised to grow more up.[1] (from Sonic News Network) | |
|
Sticks the Badger |
Complete stage 12-4: Lake Kingdom |
Boomerang Blaze The Boomerang Flower from Super Mario 3D Land, but with a fire ring that can constantly damage bosses. |
Sticks is a wacky anthropomorphic jungle badger. Since her childhood, she has lived and flourished alone in the wilderness and is therefore new to friends in general.[1][9] She eventually formed a strong bond with Team Sonic and joined them as their wild card in their ongoing battles against Dr. Eggman. Cutscenes: |
Honey the Cat |
Surprise Pounce Pounces on a foe and throws it onto another foe, much like a cat with a yarn ball. |
A playful, yet intelligent friend of Anime Hamoody, she's a cat who has seen some of Anime Hamoody's favourite shows and is trying to achieve her wacky goals, however, she is also aware of her actions as an adult and is trying not to go too far. so she tries to use cartoon physics and slapstick to procced with her adventures. |
||
Cindy Bear |
Pic-a-nic Grabs an item from her pic-a-nic basket and throws it at whatever she sees, much like someone else in Super Smash Bros. |
Cindy Bear is the love-interest of Yogi Bear and a resident of Jellystone Park. She speaks with a pronounced Southern accent, and carries a parasol. Cutscenes: |
Chip |
Available as a back-up character for Cream the Rabbit |
Bloat Up! Swells up to six different types, with each having and ability corresponding to it's nature. Helium: Water: Blueberry: Turns blue, but slowly swells up with blueberry juice, causing him to slowly become immobile until he becomes full, in which it now acts like the Water form, but with faster rolling and unable to spit out unless if Chip get's squished. Fat: Gains weight for every item he collects, after collecting either 10 mushrooms, 5 flowers, or 2 other power-ups, Chip will become unable to jump, so he has to roll, but Chip's weight will disappear if Chip moves more. Electricity: Becomes immobile, and enemies touching Chip will be defeated imediately, this form lasts for one minute and can only be used three times per level. Cotton: Can still move, but all the cotton will spill if Chip touches a spike. |
Chip has a bright personality; he is playful, merry, carefree and very goodhearted, though also somewhat goofy. He is naïve and very curious about the world, often asking simple but ponderous questions, and enjoys the slower things in life. Though he is never mean of intention, he sometimes comes off as a little annoying and blunt, like accidentally pointing out the ugliness of Sonic's Werehog form and often getting up in Sonic's face. (from Sonic News Network)
Despite his origins, Chip is not a god. |
