The Nintendo DS is a Nintendo game system, acting as the successor to the Game Boy Advance. Its competitor is Sony's PlayStation Portable. It has two screens, with the bottom screen being the touch screen. It has improved versions called the Nintendo DS Lite, Nintendo DSi, and Nintendo DSe. It's successor is the Nintendo 3DS.
Nintendo DSi[]
The Nintendo DSi is the 3rd edition to the Nintendo DS. The DSi has many capabilities that previous versions of the Nintendo DS do not, such as being able to browse the internet, downloadable games, two cameras, Facebook compatible and it is slimmer than the DS Lite and has a SD card slot rather than a Game Boy Advance slot. It's successor was the DSi XL. And then the 3DS was released.
Cases[]
The Nintendo DS used GBA slots for Cases until November of 2010. The last game with a GBA slotted case is You Don't Know Jack. released in 2011.
