During the game, from one world to another, you can meet some challengers, or rather a Kritter sent by King K. Rool or a bad Kong who will try to slow down your game or make you lose. If you win the challenge, you'll get reward and bonus.

The player must catch the barrel before they touch the ground a throw them at Krunch. Five throws are needed for defeating this boss.	Jungle Japes
Krusha	Difficulty:☆ Agility☆☆☆☆☆ Power: ☆☆ He runs from right to left and jumps very high, trying to overwhelm the player. Sometimes he takes his bazzuca and throws barrels that roll through the stage very fast, making them hard to dodge. The player must grab the barrels before they touch the ground and throwing them ten times for defeating Krusha.	Occidental Falls
Kruncha	Difficulty:☆ 1/2 Agility☆ Power: ☆☆☆☆ He runs to the right and left to overwhelm the player. Sometimes, he beats his fists on the ground for causing small earthquakes, or he will pirouette his arms. Because of these two attacks by Kruncha, the barrel will fly in the air and will hit the player. Before the barrels will fall on the land, the player will have to do a pirouette to divert the direction of the barrels to hit Kruncha. The player will have to hit 13 times Kruncha with the barrels. Kudgel	Difficulty: ☆☆ Agility☆☆☆ Power: ☆☆☆☆ 1/2 He runs to the right and left to overwhelm the player. Sometimes Kudgel will take his huge bat to hit thr player. Other times, he takes a barrel that slows down all his moves, at that time, the player must jump over the barrel raised by Kudgel, which falls on the latter. Kludge	Difficulty: ☆☆☆☆ Agility:☆☆☆ Power:☆☆☆☆☆ He runs to the right and left to try to overwhelm the player. Sometimes, Kudge will give some punches, if the player will be hit 7 times by a punch he will lose a life. To defeat Kludge, the player must hit him with 15 barrels. When he looks apparently defeated, Kludge will receive an extra life by an Extra Life Baloon that will restore his energy. Then, the player, to defeat him definitively, must hit Kludge with 4 other barrels, but it will be more difficult because the agility and strength of the boss are increased.	Cranky's Temple
King K. Rool (First Battle)	Difficulty: ☆☆ Agility☆ Power: ☆☆☆☆☆ He runs from side to side to overwhelm the player. Sometimes launching the barrels that roll may cause any damages to the player. The player must divert the barrels by doing pirouettes against K. Rool 10 times.	Croccodile Island
King K. Rool (Second Battle)	Difficulty: ☆☆☆☆☆☆ Agility☆☆☆☆☆☆ Power: ☆☆☆☆☆☆ To overcome this battle, the player will have a lifebar with 10 notches. K. Rool gets on a giant barrel jet and goes to the right and to the left to try to destroy the player (if the player touches the fire of the jet will lose a life), After, K. Rool will launch the barrels, the player will have to divert to hit the King. Afterward, K. Rool will launch Klaptrap, the player must daughters lancer them against doing a pirouette. Then, the Jet will jump up and down trying to crush the player. Then, the front of the jet will open and will leave per terra drop bombs, if the player is hit by a bomb lose 4 notches, the player needs to do a twirl to throw bombs against King K. Rool.
