SuperRex is an open-world sci-fi action game by Clover Entertainment. It is the first attempt at making an original game. It will be released on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii U. Unlike most Clover games where the object is to kill innocent people, here you're supposed to be the good guy. It will be released on November 25th, 2012.

Plot[]

Taking place in 2016 Los Angeles, crime has been a problem in the city for a while now, and street gangs have taken over the entire city. Desperate, the California government created a biologically enhanced Tyrannosaurus Rex using dinosaur DNA, which mutated the creature, giving him longer arms, and making him faster, and giving him strength not natural to normal dinosaurs. Now, the creature, dubbed "SuperRex", must rid the streets of crime. Evolve the creature, give him advanced weaponry, and make Los Angeles safe once again.

Gameplay[]

You play as the biologically enhanced dinosaur, "SuperRex", the extreme solution to an extreme problem: Crime. You go around the city and fight criminals in a sandbox Los Angeles. However, not all boroughs of Los Angeles are avaliable to you right away. You have to unlock the other 2 by defeating the Kingpin of a crime gang, who usually comes out in a mech to challenge you, and completely eliminating all generals and criminals of each borough of Los Angeles. Be warned, some criminals do have weapons that can take even you on, such as mechs, customized tanks, and more.

You are capable of unlocking hundreds of customizable weapons to attach to SuperRex to give him some serious firepower. Not only that, as you kill, eat, and shoot at criminals, you evolve SuperRex, making him stronger, bigger, faster, and increasing his health. Not only that, SuperRex can also jump great heights, allowing him to jump from rooftop to rooftop, and he can climb buildings.

In traditional Clover fasion, every object in the environment can be destroyed: Cars, lamp posts, bus stops, mailboxes, water towers and more. The only thing you can't destroy is buildings. You're the good guy in this game, but you are capable of rampaging through town towards innocent people. But, there are consequences for that. Like, the police and SWAT team will go after you until you stop destroying things.

There's also an online mode, where you can team up with other players and rid the streets of crime together. Or, you can go against each other and fight in Deathmatches. You can even do a Co-Op mode and play the campaign together.

Martin Scorcia		The crime lord of the Red Dragons that overrun Downtown Los Angeles, Martin is very good with machines, allowing him to create giant mechs that can take on even SuperRex. He is a dangerous adversary.
Harold and Jacob		The 2 scientists that helped create SuperRex. They were also the brains who came up with the idea to begin with.
Jerry Brook		Jerry is the governor of California. He is also responsible for guiding SuperRex to his goal and keeping him under control if he were to turn on humanity.

Burbank		Burbank is the residential area of Los Angeles. There aren't as many hi-rise buildings as the other boroughs, but it's still beautiful there.
