Ancient Robot are an intelligent race of robots that made their appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The Ancient Robots served the Humans, but due to Demise's attack on The Surface and Hylia having to remove a piece of land to the sky (which created Skyloft), the Ancient Robots were all inactive and died especially when the Lanayru Climate Change happened. The Ancient Robots can be powered again with the use of the Timeshift Stone. All the robots were from the Lanayru Province and can be spotted at the province.

The Ancient Robots were highly intelligent and helpful robots who lived in the past and performed multiple tasks such as mining and handling ships. The Ancient Robots were skilled miners and found many Timeshift Stones which brings the past to life again.
Types[]
There are other Ancient Robots that aren't produced in the LD-301 series, but other robots such as Scervo and Dreadfuse are apart of the LD-002 and LD-003 series. The member of the LD-002 and LD-003 series are more aggressive and are mini-bosses in the Sandship and Sky Keep.
