Police Academy: Racer X is a racing game on the Nintendo Wii and it is a sequel to the Nintendo DS game Police Academy: Racers. It is a spinoff of the Police Academy series where the main character competes in various races using Go Karts and Dirt bikes. This is the first Police Academy game on the Wii.
Single Player[]
There is a basic single-player mode in which the characters race around in a grand prix. There are easy, medium, and hard difficulty levels. Rewards for this mode include unlocking new characters and new tracks.
Multiplayer[]
There are three multiplayer modes one where they can join in on the grand prix as a team (three players maximum), one where they can race against each other, and one where they can battle against each other to knock out their three hearts.
Online[]
By the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection players can race against up to five other players or have battles with up to six other players. They can enter friend codes or random races or battles.

- Baton - Throw it at a car to spin it out
- Stun Gun - Shock it at another kart to spin it out, three shots
- Net Gun - Stop another kart for three seconds
- Tasor - Shock it at another kart to spin it out, one shot
- Baseball bat - Lie it across the road to spin out cars
- Poké Balls - Random Pokémon comes out
- Feline Amulet - A feline Pokémon comes and attacks foes ahead of you.
- Syringe - It spins out the car in front of the players.

- Koffing - Uses smokescreen on foes
- Swalot - Uses sludge on foes, they go faster can't see where they are going
- Blastoise - Stands on the road and uses Hydro Pump on everyone
- Venasaur - Stands on the road and uses Solar Beam on everyone
- Charizard - Stands on the road and uses Fire Blast on everyone
- Torterra - Stands on the road and uses Leaf storm on everyone
- Empoleon - Stands on the road and uses Aqua Jet on everyone
- Infernape - Stands on the road and uses Flare Blitz on everyone.
- Magikarp - If hit by a kart it skids out.
Karts[]
Every player has two karts and two bikes all of them are based on pokémon that the character owns in the games or is affiliated with. Some players may share the same Pokémon designed kart however they are not exactly identical for example Daniella, DJ Lily, and DJ Mary all have a Meowth kart however DJ Mary's Meowth has a pink collar and DJ Lily's Meowth has a bell around its tail.
