May is a Pokémon Trainer from the third generation series. She is one of the Trainers you can play as in Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and their Generation 6 remakes, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, the other being Brendan. She can also appear in Pokémon Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness if you connect to those games using the GCN-GBA Cable and use your team from those games.

In the Pokémon anime, May, who was one of Ash Ketchum's traveling companions (replacing Misty), was instead interested in Pokémon Contests, and aspired to be a top Contest Coordinator. She had a brother in this continuity, Max, as well as a rival, Drew.

Kingdom Hearts

May is an ally of Link in both KH: A New Beginning and KH II: The Adventure Continues. She uses her Poké Balls to summon her different Pokémon to attack the Heartless, in a similar manner to Donald Duck's magic spells. She is voiced by Michele Knotz.

Nintendo Gals: Smash Tag Rumble

May is one of the default roster characters, her Pokemons are Grovyle, Blaziken, Mudkip, Gardevoir, Medicham and Munchlax.

Enjoy Your Massage!: Celebrities on the Run

May appears as a patient in Enjoy Your Massage!: Celebrities on the Run. She wears a two-piece swimsuit based on the one in Pokemon Ranger & the Temple of the Sea.
