Treecko (Japanese: キモリ Kimori) is a grass-type Pokémon. It evolves into Grovyle at Level 16, which evolves into Sceptile at level 36. Along with Torchic and Mudkip, they are the starting Pokémon of the Hoenn region.

Appearance[]

Pokémon Games and the anime show that they are green, bipedal reptiles with a darker-green tail separated into two lobes. The tail is used to smack into foes with great force. It's throat and stomach are colored red and their eyes are yellow with oval-shaped, slender pupils.

Special Abilities[]

Tiny hooks embedded into a Treecko's hands and feet allow it to climb up trees and similar structures with ease.They are able to user many Grass-Type attacks and other types of attacks, too, like Aerial Ace and Quick Attack.

Behavior[]

Treecko are very territorial Pokémon, and usually attack anyone that go near their homes. They sence the humidity with their tails, which help them plan their day. They never stop their calm mood, which helps them in battle.

After you receive the Frafle's Feather and give it to Professor Maple, the Fightful Sisters will give you a Treecko, but only if you chose Sealean as your starter Pokémon. They can also be found on Route 213 with their evolution, Grovyle.
