Super Smash Bros. Fighting Stars (also referred to by shorthands as SSBFS, or simply just Fighting Stars, and officially Super Smash Bros. Fighting Stars: New Nintendo 3DS / Nintendo Switch Version) is a term used to collectively refer to Super Smash Bros. Fighting Stars: New Nintendo 3DS Version and Super Smash Bros. Fighting Stars: Nintendo Switch Version, two upcoming fighting video games both developed by MikuLuigi07 and published by Nintendo for the New Nintendo 3DS & Nintendo Switch.
It will be the second title in the Smash Bros. series to have two versions and the first title to be released on the same console as the predisessors. Unlike Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, this game can only be played on ether a New Nintendo 3DS or a New Nintendo 2DS. This is also the first title to have other media characters appear.
According to an interview, after the game's release, there will be free updates and content added, similar to Splatoon, Splatoon 2, ARMS, and Mario Tennis Aces. This makes it the first Nintendo 3DS title to get free content after the game's release.
This game once again has many Nintendo franchises, as well as third party franchises, fight each other.

Trivia (Game)[]
- The creator kinda thinks that the game is getting released in a very bad time. The reason why is because Super Smash Bros. Ultimate hype was going on and that said game will be released soon. In the end though, he still believes that this will be a great game for new and returning players alike.
- This is the first Super Smash Bros. game to...
- Not have Masahiro Sakurai as the head developer.
- Include playable characters from other media.
- Have a playable demo on a home console version.
- Have an alternate costume for every character.
- This is the second Super Smash Bros. game to have a planned simultaneous worldwide release.
Trivia (Characters)[]
- Due to the New Nintendo 3DS's and the New Nintendo 2DS's hardware, the Ice Climbers are fully functional, unlike Super Smash Bros. 4.
- Hatsune Miku and the VR Future Live stage was confirmed on her birthday, August 31, 2018.
- She was originally planned to appear as the 39th playable character.
- Angelina was originally gonna be an Assist Trophy, but the development team managed to make a whole moveset of her, so she was added as a playable character.
- Suprisingly, Mattel still agreed to have her appear in the game after the change.
- As one can guess, the 2019 teaser teases Chocola and Vanilla from Nekopara.
- Chocola and Vanilla were originally gonna have different movesets, but some point in develpoment, it was decided for them both to have the same moveset with minor differences.
- Vanilla appears as the echo fighter because Chocola had a bigger focus in Nekopara: Vol. 1, but Chocola and Vanilla's movesets were combined, so Chocola could be the echo fighter of Vanilla, similar to Simon and Richter from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
- The game marks the first playable appearances of Angelina, Twilight, Twilight EG, Chocola, & Vanilla.
