I APPRECIATE ALL THE PAST CONTRIBUTIONS BY ALL THE USERS IN THE COMPANY. UNFORTUNATELY, AFTER THE COMMUNITY SPLIT, NEXTGEN NEVER REALLY GOT BACK TOGETHER, AND AFTER MONTHS OF WAITING, I HAVE NOW DECLARED THAT NEXTGEN GAMES, INC. IS NOW DEFUNCT. NO MORE GAMES WILL BE PRODUCED, AND THE CURRENT GAMES IN DEVELOPMENT WILL BE PORTED TO NEXTGEN SOLO.[]

NextGen Solo is the new name for Vectrix, inc. It was changed to this because the upcoming game concepts for Vectrix, inc. were originally for NextGen Games, inc., which is on a hiatus because of the community split.

Trivia[]

  • The 2009-2011 NextGen Games Logo could hint at a possible name change...but it was coincedentally a sign of the upcoming defunct of the company.
  • In 2009-2010, the publisher of Dk64rules fan-fictions was NextGen Games, inc., but in December 2010, publication moved to NextGen Solo, since only Dk64rules writes them.
