Cleffa is a normal type baby Pokémon that debuted in Generation II. It evolves into Clefairy when leveled up with high happiness, which evolves into Clefable when exposed to a Moon Stone. Clefts are small, pink vaguely star shaped creatures. They dance in the moonlight and feed of dew water. Cleffa have been known to be attracted by meteor showers. Sightings of this Pokémon always increases during meteor showers, and when they do show up, they dance the night away. They live in mountainous areas with Clefairy's, especially Mt. Moon. They are based on fairies and pixies, just like its evolutions.
