SEGA Fighter is a crossover fighting game to be released on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo 3DS as part of the SEGA All-Stars / SEGA Superstars series with a PC port to be launched later on. Currently, it is under development by SEGA in conjunction with Capcom and is set for release in 2017. The game features various SEGA franchises, including the popular Sonic the Hedgehog series and the former mascot series Alex Kidd, and representatives from those series duking it out across a variety of landscapes inspired by their games.

Along with the revealed unlockables, characters from the following franchises are set to appear in-game;

- Space Harrier

- ToeJam and Earl
Version exclusives have been confirmed for each system, but no characters were given. Franchises will include Dead Rising, Half-Life, Super Mario, Team Fortress 2, and The Legend of Zelda amongst several others.
Trivia[]
- Several characters have either previously crossed over or been in fighting games.
- Sonic and Virtua Fighter figurines could be found in capsule machines throughout Shenmue.
- A majority of the cast crossed over in previous entries of the SEGA All-Stars series.
- Ulala, AiAi, and NiGHTS previously appeared as hidden racers in Sonic Riders.
- Ulala later reappeared in the sequel, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, alongside Billy Hatcher and Amigo.
- Sonic appeared in an unlockable stage in the Wii version of Samba de Amigo.
- Mega Man and Sonic have crossed paths twice; once in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U and then again in an Archie Comics crossover.
