Fighters de Vitesse is the first game in a series of , being developed by NightVision Entertainment. It will be released in May 2017, and was announced at E3 of 2016.
During development NightVision Entertainment scrapped this game in order to work on a Smash game, leaving deveolopment on the hands of Dreams Inc.
The game plays like a third person 3D Beat-em-up, the player must deplete the opponents' health, there's a combo system and many other features.
The game also has an Adventure Mode with special stages, though it doesn't have a story of any kind, there are also Items, you can use these instantly or "equip" them in an inventory of sorts for later, and of course there are Super Moves, each character has 3 of these, 1-Bar Move, 3-Bar Move and a Full-Bar Strike.
Mario is the SSB Mario Series's famed hero, who has stopped Bowser's evil plots on many occasions. He can throw fireballs from his hands, use his cape, and can even Ground Pound opponents to do some hard damage.
The Hero of Time and wielder of the Master Sword, Link has many weapons at his disposal. Including his Sword and Shield, a Bow, Bombs, and Boomerangs.
Pokemon's adorable mascot, Pikachu shocks the battle! He can use Iron Tail as a hard melee attack, and has many thunder based moves he uses in battle.
Deep in space, bounty hunter Samus Aran travels the galaxy exterminating Metroids and Space Pirates, using her trusty arm cannon which shoots lasers, missiles, and other projectiles. She also can use crash bombs to do a lot of damage.
"Kirby Kirby Kirby, That's A Name You Should Kno-" NO WE ARE NOT DOING THAT. Kirby has copy abilities in which he swallows an enemy to gain their Neutral Special, but he also can use a Hammer, Warp Star, and his animal friends to attack.
Wii Fit Trainer
Once merely an instructor for a Wii game that probably nobody played, Wii Fit Trainer has yoga based moves, and can also use a wii Balance Board.
Little Mac is the under appreciated star of Nintendo's first fighting game, Punch Out! He uses various types of punches in battle, making him a very basic fighter. Rocky Balboa would be proud.
The Nintendo equivalent of a Paintball player, Inkling uses her ink gun as a ranged weapon, and can transform into a squid to swim in ink.
Mario joins the battle in the most thin form he's been yet! Paper Mario wields a hammer, and can also get help from his many allies and party members that joined him in is many adventures. (Four, to be exact.)
DK! Donkey Kong! A large, strong ape, Donkey Kong uses his brute strenght in battle, as well as his coconut gun and bongos.
A robot helper, Chibi-Robo is a smaller character who can shoot a water gun, use his cord as a whip, and can attack with other house-hold items.
Takamaru is an honorable samurai wielding a katana blade, which he uses as his main weapon. He can also throw pinwheel knife rooks and use other weapons.
Greninja is a Pokemon X and Y representative who uses many quick water-based moves, such as his famous water shuriken attack.
Two little kids wearing eskimos wielding giant mallets. Well, it's official. I have seen everything there is to see in life. The Ice Climbers use their mallets to fight, and fight alongside each other in the arena.
The elegant ruler of the SSB Mario Series returns yet again! She has a very quirky set of moves, using turnips, her parasol, and sheeps that can knock people unconscious to fight.
Bowser's bratty son, Bowser Jr. returns to fight, despite the Koopa Clown Car doing all the work. The Koopa Clown Car fights using punches from mechanical arms, and Bowser Jr. himself can throw Bob-ombs down at opponents.
Zelda is the princess of Hyrule, and is quite similar to Peach. She uses magic and light arrows in her arsenal.
Duck Hunt Dog
An innocent puppy with the most annoying laugh in the universe. The Duck uses the NES Zapper and can get help from the Duck, who pecks at enemies and can give the Dog a good recovery.
A companion of Kirby and newcomer to the series, Bandanna Dee uses his spear in battle. He plays quite similarly to Kirby, but lacks copy abilities or his hammer.
A mysterious cosmic queen, Rosalina has a spin attack she uses, and can also send lumas to fight for her in battle.
A hulking dragon, Charizard returns to the fray using his firebreath, as well as many hard hits against foes.
The custom avatar of Fire Emblem Awakening, wielding an electric sword and spellbook. You can customize the spells he uses in battle, and you can even change his gender.
"SHOW ME YOUR MOVES!" Since he hails from a racing game, Captain Falcon is quite fast, and uses his signature Falcon Punch attack, as well as many other fire-based moves.
The perky shopkeeper of Fire Emblem, Anna uses a sword like the other FE Reps, but can also use other items to reflect her role as a shopkeeper.
He's gonna get that Kirby. Dedede wields a hammer and uses that as his main method of attack, but can also swallow enemies and spit them out, which can be a useful way of throwing opponents off cliffs.
Zelda's TOTES MYSTERIOUS alter ego. Sheik can throw needles and darts, and is a quick and nimble fighter. She also can use daggers, a chain whip, and ninja-like reflexes.
Hawluchaaa! This bird-luchador-crazy thing is a Pokémon from Gen 6 along with Greninja, however, Hawlucha focuses more on brute force with powerful attacks.
The humble villager (WHO IS DEFINATELY NOT A PYSCHO KILLER) enters the fray, using butterfly nets, a shovel, Lloid Rockets, and chopping down trees to attack. He also uses his signature pocket move to capture projectile attacks or items and use them again later.
Marth is the main protagonist of Fire Emblem...well, at least that's what we like to think. Marth is a swift and graceful character who can land quick sword strikes on foes, but he is a bit of a tricky character to master.
"I'm really feeling it!"
Shulk is the wielder of the Monado, and can predict the future. He can use his sword to fight, get help from his pal Riki, and can use his charms to change his stats.
Wahahahaha! Wario is some fat guy who imitates Mario's get up because I don't know. Wario can eat garlic to enhance his strength, and he rides a bike. He is quite a strong character, in a similar vein to Donkey Kong or King Dedede. And let's not forget his rather peculiar Up special....
A tiny little witch, Ashley uses her sidekick Red for close ranged attacks, and can use spells to fire projectiles or inflict status effects on opponents.
Pit's goddess master joins the battle once again! She uses her staff and shield, and has quite a diverse range of moves, like Pit. She is kind of a floaty character in a similar vein to Rosalina, and has many light-based abilities to aid her in battle.
The less popular of the two Mario Brothers, Luigi is a bit of a scaredy-cat, but he has come to join the brawls, attacking with green fire, the Poltergust, and Dream Land powers.
In an alternate universe, Mario decided to become a doctor instead of a goomba-stomping plumber. Why this universe exists I have no idea. Doctor Mario uses pills and doctor equipment in battle.
A psychic artificial Pokemon, Mewtwo returns after an absense from the past two games. Mewtwo can use psychic powers and quick melee attacks in combat.
One of the original 12, Ness wields simple weapons such as a baseball bat and a yo-yo. He also has PSI abilities, which most of the special attacks consist of.
A joyous robot and hero of Planet Bomber who BLOWS UP SHIT for a living. He can use his assorted types of bombs for his moveset.
They said he was too big for Smash, but in reality Smash was too small for HIM. Ridley claws at opponents, can breath fire, and is able to fly.
King K. Rool
A banana-thieving crocodile, King K. Rool is the mortal enemy of Donkey Kong. Like most villain characters, King K Rool is a heavy fighter, and can use his different costumes and Kremlin minions as part of his moveset.
Bowser is the rival to Mario and everything good in the SSB Mario Series....sometimes. He has sharp claws, breathes fire, and can send out koopa minions to attack.
Zero Suit Samus
Once Samus removes her power suit, she becomes the swift and agile Zero Suit Samus. Zero Suit Samus is armed with a laser gun that transforms into a whip and rocket boots, having a much different play style in comparison to her armored form.
Once again joining the fight is the menacing Ganondorf, who uses his sword and darkness powers during combat. He also can transform into Ganon, who is a much more brawny character.
Despite being smaller in stature then most characters, Olimar is sure to pack a punch. He uses his Pikmin for most of his attacks, as well as the use of rocket ships.
Pac-Man is a well-known Third Party representation, and he can eat foes, deliver strong melee attacks, or use items from classic Namco games in his moveset.
Meowth! That's right! Meowth is similar to Pikachu, being a small and quick fighter who can scratch enemies and use coins to fight.
R.O.B. the Robot once started off as an add on for an old Nintendo console. He shoots lasers out of his eyes and can use other gizmos, but doesn't have many strong melee hits.
The (Fanmade) Mega Evolution for Roserade, Rocina uses plant-based moves and a sword to fight. She is quite a swift character, mixing Marth's playstyle to something similar to Sheik's or Greninja's.
Dixie Kong & Diddy Kong
Diddy Kong returns, but now he is paired up with Dixie! Diddy provides ranged support with his Peanut Pop-guns, while Dixie is more close ranged, using her hair as a whip to attack enemies. Dixie can also use her hair as a tether.
Yoshi is Mario's cute Dino friend, who uses his tongue to swallow enemies and can roll out as an egg. He also can toss eggs, and can sprout wings and fly.
Sonic the Hedgehog
Blue streak, speeds by! Sonic the Hedgehog! Sonic is the fastest character in the game, using his spin dash attacks and wisps as his primary way of fighting.
Megaman is a futuristic robot built originally as a simple house-cleaner. Now, Ol' Mega rejoins the fight, using his Mega Buster and Robot Master abilities! Like Mario, he is a balanced fighter, but is a bit more tricky for beginners.
