The first thing I'll reveal about Project "Lab Rats" is that the final title of this game will be simply known as Rats. Now why did I choose that title? It's because I wanted to keep the game simple, yet compelling. This game will be published exclusively by Nintendo for the Wii U console. Another thing that I want to mention is that this game will not feature any spoken dialogue between the two rats aside from the squeaks, also the characters wont have any names and will simply be reffered to as the "Lab Rat" and the "City Rat".
The gameplay in Rats will involve the player taking control of the City Rat in an adventure inside of a fully automated laboratory to set the Lab Rat free. You'll go through the many different areas of the laboratory such as a water filled room, an abandoned research room, the sewers, and many other areas. Basically, you're the City Rat and all you want is to set the Lab Rat free and when the robots move the Lab Rat, you have to follow her and sometimes you'll have to take an alternate route to get to her. You'll stop at nothing to save the Lab Rat. The amazing gameplay that you'd expect from Toucan will definitely be in Rats.
I'll start on a fanfic based on Rats sometime soon, so just be patient.
Once I get close to finishing Rats, I'll begin working on Banjo-Kazooie The Legend of Stop 'N' Swop. A sequel to Rats will likely not happen because I want to leave the ending the way it is (which you'll see later on). So that about wraps up my announcment on Rats. Be sure to check out my other new games Dave the Rabbit: Road Rage and Gerbil Life. And why not check out Fruity Adventure Racing & Jade Agent: Mission Zero while you're at it.
